Acadia Declares Communist Forces in Ghuangji Enemies of the State
It was announced that the Acadian Government has declared all communist forces in Ghuangji enemies of the state. ANN was not surprised at this, and predicts that more action will be taken. Communism is already banned from any political office in Acadian government, and analysts believe they did not declare communism, as a whole, as an enemy for fear of war with Zhung. Regardless, many believe war is in the near future.

Acadia has announced diplomatic meetings with the largely libertarian Althenian nation of Calibria. Acadian Head of Department of Foreign Affairs, Tim J. Correll (C), says, "Calibria and Acadia have similar political beliefs and friendship with them will be beneficial to both of us."

Matt Randall, the conservative presidential candidate has been elected as president and will take office on November 30th. He won both the popular vote, the necessary electoral votes, and two of the swing states.

President Johnson has stated that his intentions were to avoid war as long as possible. However, when the disputed Ameka Islands were bombed by Ghuangji, killing many civilians, including 26 Acadians, there was no escaping it. With the combat in Fraesia over and a peace agreement with Hedjaz, it will be the military's primary focus.

Ghuangji President Assassinated
The president of the eastern Althenian nation of Ghuangji was
assassinated at 5:41 pm, local time in his home country. The footage was
captured on video and has been released to the media. The president, Yuyung Chow, was standing on a balcony in his palace giving an unplanned speech. The AIA
reports that there were agents "on the inside" that were able to deliver the
intelligence that he would be giving a speech at that specific time and
location. An M40 sniper rifle was used by the AIA operative, whose name
will not be released.
Analysts assume that the mission was authorized by Chief
Ambassador Williams, who has the authority to act in the president's behalf.
The mission was most likely authorized in fear of a prolonged, expensive war;
especially when it would all be traced back to a single man.
International reaction is yet to come.

The government of Kuyrut believes the assassination was unwarranted, yet supports the drastic decisions of the Joint Forces of Folland. The justification of the assassination was not needed and will cause more problems in the future as now there is a revenge aspect, and a new leader would come to power.
