Rules of the United Sovereign Nations
1. Forum Etiquette
a. All members must be addressed in a respectful and mature manner. Failure to behave this way will result in due action by the administrators.
i. No personal insults or attacks
ii. No rudeness towards others
iii. No over-criticism, please use positive constructive-criticism
b. All members must communicate in a dignified, grammatically correct manner.
i. No “wat r u doin 2night” should be used
ii. No overuse of emoticons
iii. No overuse of images
iv. No inappropriate images
v. No repetitive text; ex: lololololol
vi. No profanity/swearing on the forums
vii. No promoting illegal activity outside of role-play
c. All members must respect administrators’ authority. Decisions made by administrators are final.
d. All members must do their part in maintaining the forums.
i. No posting threads in incorrect forums; ask an administrator for help if needed
ii. No unnecessary double-posting
e. Warn other members before going on-leave.
f. Be active on the forums.
g. All members must not plagiarize work.
h. All members are responsible for reporting infringements of rules to administrators.
2. Avatars
a. Members may choose to have a forum avatar.
i. No obnoxious, distracting, or inappropriate avatars
b. Administrators have the right to ask a member to change their avatar, or they may remove it, if necessary
3. Signatures
a. Members may choose to have a post signature.
i. No obnoxious, distracting, or inappropriate signatures
b. Administrators have the right to ask a member to change their avatar, or they may remove it, if necessary
4. Role-play
a. All members must role-play maturely.
i. No making role-play personal
ii. No taking role-play personally
iii. No allowing out of character relationships affect role-play
iv. No allowing role-play to affect out of character relationships
b. All members must role-play intelligently.
i. No god-modding
ii. No making unrealistic claims
5. Punishments
a. Administrators may take due actions for any offenses.
b. Action ranges from:
i. A warning
ii. A 3-day ban
iii. A week ban
iv. A permanent ban
v. Revoking privileges
c. The Administrative Cabinet must vote on punishments, by a majority vote.
6. Additional Rules
a. Administrators may add additional rules by a majority vote
i. This rule must be announced one day before taking effect
