Kehmal Mumahed Executed
The "trial" of Kehmal Mumahed ended a few days ago. Kehmal was sentenced to execution for crimes against the state, quote; Speaking out against the Gansbaaian government and against Prince Jahirze Bin Talehed. The trial, which lasted 31 days, was "dragged out for too long" judge Hericc said. Kehmal was accused guilty by Hericc and sentenced to death. Later that day Kehmal was forcefully dragged to the central square of Khrsybicat, Gansbaai's Capitol, and brutally beaten by The Gansbaaian guard. He was then hung and killed off of a make-shift gallow. Citizens watched in horror as this atrocious act was committed.

Judge Hericc, Prince Jahirze Bin Talehed, nor any other officials in any government position have yet to comment on what happened.

The Imperial Republican Kingdom of Grand, Belluterra, and Malo condemns the actions of the Royal Gansbaai Kingdoms in executing Kehm al Mumahed for such a simple thing as speaking against the Prince. We also condemn Gansbaai for executing Mumahed in such an atrocious manner, for such a petty crime.

Official Statement by the Sovereign

The Imperial Kingdom of Posillipo is appalled by the actions taken against Mr. Kehmal Mumahed, and sincerely condemns the actions taken by the government and leadership of Gansbaai. The Kingdom sees the punishment as the lesser of the many wrongdoings of the Gansbaaian Government, the main problem being the inhibition of free speech, guaranteed by the Charter of USNW. We would like to propose restrictions be placed on Gansbaai and would also like to suggest possible physical intervention if this continues, also we would like to ask that an inter-union boycott be placed on Gansbaai to try and make the government understand the severity of their actions in this matter.

We are deeply saddened by these atrocious and despicable actions taken against Kehmal Mumahed. I offer my deepest apologizes to the family of this man, and my most humble prayers are sent to the people of Gansbaai.

Her Royal Majesty, Vasílissa of Posillipo,

As a major trading partner of Gansbaai and a provider of economic aide to the the government and people of Gansbaai, Insulo and her people are deeply disappointed. We feel that the actions taken against Mr. Kehmal Mumahed are unacceptable and inexcusable. With our postition as a major partner of Gansbaai, we feel the need to take immediate action to prevent atrocities of this kind in nations Insulo associated herself with. Thus, we as a Senate, with full support of the executive, have authorized new provisions concerning the relations with Gansbaai, all effective immediately and until further notice:
  • All economic and physical aide to Gansbaai and it's people is ceased.
  • All Gansbaaian diplomats in Insulo will be placed under increased surveillance; diplomats my choose to leave the country if they wish.
  • All Gansbaaian products are banned from sale in Insulo, including and not limited petroleum products.
Insulo hopes that these sanctions will deter future events similar to this in the future. Insulo would also motion that the judge and other government officials involved be brought to trial in the USNW court for knowingly violating the Union Charter.

The Republic of Calma Domhain feels the actions taken in the execution were inhumane and primal in what should have been a very civilized nation. Calma Domhain officially condems the execution's proceedings. Calma Domhain also is putting Ganssbaai on it's watch list, and anyone caught flying through Calman Airports with a Gansbaaian passport will be taken aside for a background check and search. All diplomats currently in Calma Domhain will be given 14 days to leave the country or face arrest and none may fly into or through Calma Domhain. This is just a warning, restrictions may escalate if further condemable actions take place in Gansbaai.

The United Kingdom of Cattala, in it's role as an observer of the United Sovereign Nations of the World, will not comment on the private affairs of the Royal Gansbaai Kingdoms.
We will strongly encourage nations not to pursue irrational and threatening reactions and will actively condemn any form of military rebuke, in any context.

The United Kingdom of Cattala will also refuse to support any sanctions placed on the Royal Gansbaai Kingdoms and will seek counsel on this matter to prevent an escalation.

The Republican Kingdom of Grand and Belluterra steps up its condemnation of the Royal Gansbaai Kingdoms, and places a ban on all Gansbaai-produced products, and orders all Gansbaaian diplomats to leave the country within 48 hours of this statement. We also place a travel ban on Gansbaai, and are withdrawing all Grandian, Belluterra, and Malonese diplomats from Gansbaai within 48 hours. We also wish to bring the responsible parties before the USNW High Court.

The Provincial Republic is distraught by the actions of the government as a punishment, and wishes to see the prosecutors prosecuted. However, until an official Gansbaaian government statement New Chandler will not be approving or activating any embargoes or sanctions against the country.

The Federation of New Friscia is deeply saddened by the actions taken by the Gansbaai Government against an individual who committed what we consider a petty crime. We seriously suggest renewed efforts towards human rights development. An embargo will not be placed on Gansbaai until clarification is made by the Gansbaai government on the issue.

It has become clear that an embargo of Gansbaaian products is not feasible at this time, and through talks with Gansbaaian officials we have decided such an embargo is unlikely to influence change. Also, due to provisions outlining free trade in the Insulonian Constitution the embargo has been found to be illegal. As such, the Senate officially votes to repeal the Embargo on Gansbaaian products, and will seek another form of punishment for the actions of Gansbaai.

The Republic of Calma Domhain will officially follow in the lead of Insulo and repeal all embargos and restrictions on Gansbaai. However, Calma Domhain wishes to see an official reaction from Gansbaai before possibly reintroducing the restrictions. At this point Calma Domhain will continue to monitor Gansbaai but will not impose any restrictions at this time. The previous restrictions were not set to become active until Friday, June 10th,2011.

Gansbian Officials Wanted for Arrest

The results of the Kehmal Mumahed case have brought up major issues within Gansbaai and other countries. Several Embargo's have been placed by various countries, as well has removal of many diplomats, as well as Gansbaai's and the Prince's blatant defile of the USNW constitution

Prince Jahirze Bin Talehed made a statement today. Translated statement - "Kehmal Mumahed deserved his punishment. He insulted this country, as well as I personally. I am here to say that if any other person or organization does the same, they will be treated the same, and as an enemy of the state."

This statement sprung up great concern amongst many of the population of Gansbaai, mainly in the capitol. Numerous previously free-speech news organizations have left Gansbaai in the fear of being prosecuted, including the NGBC.rgk (this news source.) Many are now broadcasting in other countries. We are currently broadcasting from Insulo. Many are in countries surrounding Gansbaai, such as Idan, Bajer, Barouhm, Butuno, and Kuah. This invasion of freedom of speech, oil embargo, and diplomat removal has plunged Gansbaai into a near Dictatorial state. The RGBC promises to keep all updated on things as it happens. The Prince still refuses to comment on the wanted arrest.

The United Kingdom of Cattala, in it's role as an observer of the United Sovereign Nations of the World, urges its international partners to refrain from forcing the hand of the Gansbaaian Government until further notice. We wish to see this internal matter resolved as soon as possible and advise the Royal Gansbaai Kingdoms to reinstate freedoms of speech and human rights laws that other nations adhere to. We repeat our call for other USNW nations to refrain from irrational and unhelpful actions that may worsen the situation in the Royal Gansbaai Kingdoms.
