He meant it as a comedic entry (i believe), and you can still get the gist of it from a bad google translation. Woman steals from store to make her own profits.

BREAKING NEWS: Okaiken Unanimously Agrees to Change Article 9

The Sanese Diet, led by Prime Minister Toshiro Kurosawa, had unanimously voted to change the 9th Article of the Sanese Constitution. The change would see the 9th article extended not just on Okaiken territories, but also the territories of its allies, mainly the current EAS members, major allies such as Shayden and Abbasid, as well as former USNW member Etrusque and the countries of Mervey and Gamat. This is the first major change in the constitution of Okaiken after the Constitutional Monarchy was restored in 2011.

"We are in an era where threats are increasing by each day", replied Sanada Nobutaka, the current Minister of Defence. "In order to protect sovereign nations from imperialism and expansionism, we expanded the right of defence to our allies and our assets"

Effective immediately, the OMSDF will be reverted to the Imperial Sanese Navy. The OSDF will be restructured to the Imperial Sanese Army and the OASDF will be renamed to the Imperial Sanese Air Force. The change would also mean that the army, Air Force and the navy be allowed to participate in various missions as well as to purchase military assets without the involvement of the National Police.

Hyuga and Musashi immediately sent to Abbasid
The two flagship carriers of the now renamed Imperial Sanese Navy were immediately dispatched to Abbasid to protect the interests of the oil-producing nation as well as to protect the sovereignty of the nation, in spite of a recent spat between Bergenstein and its involvement with the Esdaad conflict.

Mitron supports the extension, and hopes that this will help further improve the already good relations between Mitron and Okaiken.

I'm not sure if I understood, so that statement might not be valid. Razz

Does Shayden smell imperialist intent incoming? Just stay away from our land and you won't have to deal with our hooker strikes. ;D

On a serious note this is very interesting. Excited to see what will happen next.

Actually they didn't remove it, but amended it to encompass the jurisdiction over Okaiken's allies and overseas assets, effectively guaranteeing them legality in military operations again, since y'know, the world is sh!t. Okaiken still can't start wars, but since the world is always in some form of conflict, and Okaiken has assets all over the globe, they might as well be anyway.

OKAIKEN CUTS GSK, KALLVARDE, "ISTERIAN UNION" RELATIONS

OKASHI (NIKKAN) -- Okaiken announced today that the nations involved in the Valiscan conflict, such as GSK, Kallvarde and the so-called Isterian Union nations, will have to deal with severed relations and strict sanctions until the situation returns to normal. This announcement comes just days after troops from the GSK overthrew the legitimate Valiscan government and established martial law on the country. "We do not want nations that continue to promote violence for their own overblown claims" replied Prime Minister Toshiro Kurosawa in an emergency press conference last night. "As a vanguard of worldwide stability, we will make sure that nations who promote their reckless actions will not spread on their relatively peaceful neighbours."

7 ships from the Imperial Sanese Navy had been sent to Mervey to provide support for the Mervegians, which is now surrounded by rogue nations to the East and West of the country. Kallvarde, with its recent revelations regarding its planned invasion of Ugento, was also included due to its close ties with the GSK and is also an instrumental member of the Isterian Union, a union that is still not recognized by the USNW body.

Meanwhile in Mervey, the Valiscan contingent was warmly welcomed by the Prime Minister of Mervey, where the two nations will discuss the takeover of Valiscan territory from GSK troops, with recent rumours that Kallvarde wanted a piece of land in Valisco to spread its influence within the region.

The EAS body declined to comment about the situation.

NANAMI-OKAIKEN-TEIKO TRIANGLE TO BE SET UP

SHIZUKU (NIKKAN) - The three Sanese-speaking nations of Okaiken, Nanami and Teiko had met up in Shizuku to set up a cooperative triangle for the three nations. "We hoped that this triangle will help the improvement of relations within the three Sanese-speaking nations", said the Finance Minister Honda Masanobu. "By creating this triangle, we will be able to help each other economically".

Okaiken and Nanami, wich already have a "brotherly relationship", will help Teiko with its industrial growth and also promote its booming entertainment industry, especially with its top-quality manga comics to the rest of the world. Okaiken and Teiko will also hold talks to build a rail tunnel that wuld connect the Island of Iiban with Teiko and its capital of Akashi.

No futher details had been set.

OOC: The Isterian Union and Valisco's sudden collapse must be set forth before the NPC committee for approval, if it is not approved, the first article of the paper will be void and the wiki pages (I'm looking at you Agunter) to be locked by the admins (I'm looking at you, hoe). Razz

As far as I know Juls the controller for the area didn't say anything was wrong with it, does it need to be proposed to the whole NPC committee?

Only if someone has issues with it (objection), then that person should set it forth and a vote shall be made.

Also, I personally don't consider the RP with Valisco to be cannon, as it's just unrealistic and pure powergaming.

OKAIKEN COMPANIES ORDERED TO LEAVE BERGENSTEIN
Everything, from resources, to investments, ordered to be cut

OKASHI (NIKKAN) - Okaiken's Ministry of Finance ordered the Okaiken companies with remaining assets in Bergenstein to leave the country and take whatever they could or destroy whatever they could not carry, from heavy machinery to documents. As a return, Okaiken will be paying for any losses that the companies might be facing in the process.

"Okaiken has a non-existent relation with the Bergen People anyway, so it might be best to stop funding them to show them how extremely important relations are," said Foreign Minister Kobayakawa, on a speech before he departs for the Adonian Economic Forum in Teiko.

Tetra-Pak, in the statement released yesterday, had announced that its three packaging plants in Bergenstein had been torched and destroyed. All of its packaging materials had been recalled in several companies and the shipments of packages stopped and recalled to be destroyed. "This operation will affect Bergenstein the most" said CEO Takanaka Junichiro, "as it will effectively sever 97% of the total packaging production in Bergenstein and will effectively bring them back to the stone age"

The Keiretsu company also released a statement regarding the destruction of its mining operations in the country. "Our company had been severely affected by this continuing conflict that would not see the light at the end of the tunnel for the long time," said CEO Nakamura Takeshi. "So we decided to discontinue operations, seize the remaining mineral ores, and then destroy all equipment and the mine itself, which can be accomplished in less than 48 hours.

Meanwhile, the former Okaiken House in the Bergen Capital had also been demolished by the occupying forces with the permission of the Okaiken government, a sign that relations won't be mended for a long time. Several artifacts given by Okaiken museums to Bergenstein, such as Date Masamune's sword, given to the High King after the first visit of Okaiken's delegation to Bergenstein, had been seized and returned to the National Museum to show the recent failures of the Bergen Government.

Okaiken is currently working with Abbasid to extradite the former High King of Bergenstein to Okaiken, where he will be shipped to Shayden to face charges of war crimes. In the meantime, Okaiken is also helping the coalition forces to track down the remaining war criminals, including Fritz Anglant, the so called leader of the "Modernist" factions.

I guess that's a good thing, since the Sanese will be able to confiscate them without worry of them being stolen by dissidents.
