In the News Today;

*Folland remains leaderless officially as election preparations continue. In the mean time Prime Minister Cathleen; who had remained in office ever since the previous Chancellor Moen before his daughter, is performing the duties of interim Chancellor. The country, overall saddened by Chancellor Dehya Moen resigning her position, awaits the official ballot.

*Economic analysts began to let out sighs of relief with the news that Acadia may be dropping it's sanctions against Folland soon and normal trade may resume as usual. Political figures however continue to look cautiously as the Acadienne President continues a policy of silence, letting his subordinates do the talking.

*A splurge of SciFi movies have washed over Folland's box office this month, with one in particular being the most faved as it makes a stunning reboot of a decades old classic. The reboot centers around a menacingly loved villain calleddd11010110010>~.........................

I like his policy of silence. Very mysterious.  I'll make sure he is the one that announces dropping the sanctions. I still need to meet with some allies and discuss.

*Fort Perondeux opened today during the Holiday celebrations. Assigned men and women along with their families joined in a mass Holiday party inside the new military base. Fort Perondeux is the first Follandan military installation to be built along the Folland-Fraesian border as well as the first installation in the region to incorporate both Army and Air Force units.

*Tragedy spread across the country today as a record number of 193 Suicides were reported to Police departments throughout several cities and towns. Even during the happiest time of year, cases of severe depression still wreck the nation. Free Hotlines and Counseling services are available on holidays for those in need.

*A video on U-Toob went viral today about an adorable dog going crazy over her Holiday present. The wrapping paper didn't survive the excitement.

It was obviously a joke. If you didn't get/like it there's really no need to make a useless comment.  

Anyway, I haven't been keeping up with your news, but a military build up on the border of the country you 'invaded' is pushing it  

It's not a buildup, just a base.

In The News Today;

*In a surprisingly sudden move yesterday, the Follandan Government ceased all current and future relations with Sinope, and implemented a Ban on all domestic exports to the nation. Sinope has been a vocal opposition leader to Folland's actions lately, often labeling Folland as a "Rogue State", "Regime", and "Illegitimate Government". Prime Minister Cathleen in a short statement said, in similar words, that her and the High Council were fed up with the accusations. The market is expected to take a small dive due to the sudden loss of business, however Sinope was a light buyer, and losing that nation shouldn't damage the economy. What this means politically, however, is yet to be seen.

-----In related news, due to the ban on exports, Sinope's order of Uther and Trell's new Tiltjet VTOL, the Ghost, has been canceled.

*Negotiations have pretty much halted as Folland awaits a response to her request for an internal investigation into Fraesia's government, more specifically it's Foreign Affairs department. After a failed short term occupation to forcibly find condemning information regarding Folland's national security, Prime Minister Cathleen has gone a more legal approach to having Fraesia hand over anything it may have. The High Council hopes the investigation will go through instead of being ignored.

Mitron would like both sides in this issue (Sinope & Folland) to sort out their differences without the need for embargoes and sanctions. On a related note, Mitron would possibly like to pick up some of Folland's (small) slack in exports to Sinope, namely in such resources as lumber and/or minerals and ores.

*I don't know what Sinope takes from Folland but that's what I assumed.*

Apparently it is used both ways, although only recently are Americans using one "l". My utmost apologies.
