This photo released by the Folland Navy shows one of the destroyed ships that attacked Terol Island.

More Trouble for Folland, World Condemns Attack, Accuses Folland Security
Throughout the day of the 10th and into today salvage crews with divers and heavy lift helicopters scoured the remains of the unknown hostile warships that launched a surprise attack on the Nuclear Fusion Research Facility on Terol island. The area around the region has been tightly cordoned off to everything and information coming out of the Navy's operation is scarce to none. However some details including an image from the site had been released. The image was taken of one of the unknown ships with a third of it's hull completely torn off. A Navy spokesperson claims that vessel was destroyed by Navy Cruise Missiles. What we know as of now is the Navy is combing the wrecks searching for information about who the attackers were and what their motives were about. However the Navy is keeping everything classified.

On the world stage leading powers have condemned the attack and shared wishes for justice, however many have also turned heel and accused Folland of a severe lack in security, putting partial blame for this incident on Hinali. Many Follandan citizens are outraged at world leaders for seeing fit to place any blame at all on the victims.

The casualties from the attack on the Facility itself have been secured and the families notified.

In The News Today;

Hinali allocates hundreds of millions of Follars into S.D.I. Contracts.
A spokeswoman for the Panin Administration confirmed that the government voted to invest f360 million Follars into contracts with Syndicated Defense Industries Research and Development in order to research Future Technologies for a Military purpose. Nothing was confirmed however about the nature or content of these contracts but the government has at least seen fit to declassify the contract's existence.

Damage to Energy Facility Not in Vain, Navy Takes Prisoners
The Follandan Navy was abuzz with activity Wednesday when Salvage crews scouring the scene of a Naval battle just off Terol island discovered several survivors onboard a half sunk attacker vessel. The vessel partially capsized on top of a rock formation just under the surface which kept part of the ship above water. No additional information about the survivors or who they are is available but it's known that the Navy secured them on the Carrier FNS Cathleen, most likely for questioning.

Neighbors Oppose Rites Sea Exclusion Zone, Hinali Retorts
Several nations have expressed their opposition toward Folland's claim to a Military Exclusion Zone within the majority of the Rites Sea. Nearby Mitron and Kuyrut, who share coastlines with the Rites were the first to denounce, claiming Folland is blocking International Shipping routes. Hinali attempted to reassure it's neighbors that the zone will not affect commercial shipping since the Zone only excludes foreign military vessels, however this seems to have fallen on deaf ears. In addition, Hinali gave an official statement to the world, claiming Folland will always be willing to cooperate with world leaders on any issue, however will continue to remain steadfast in its local interests. In related news, some countries around the world have gone as far as even reducing relations over the claim on the Rites.

Carksson City Withdraws Bid for USong, Claims "Unable To Decide on Presenters"
The internet was enthralled over recent weeks when the city of Carksson, West Territories placed it's bid to host the 2014 USong competition, a global musical event where Nations send their homegrown musical talents to represent them and their people on the international stage. However due to confusing and even somewhat controversial reasons, Carksson backed out of their bid, claiming they were having a difficult time finding official presenters to go along with the bid, and without presenters, the bid would have no chance of being considered.

Major Settlements in West Esdikkom Make Use of New Energy
The first Geothermal Power Plant, built by Follandan engineers came online last week, providing much welcomed energy to seemingly isolated villages and towns around Esdikkom's northwest border with Folland. The joint project, which includes more power plants in the near future will have Esdikkom in turn provide Folland land rights to drill for Natural resources, including Oil and Natural Gas.

Crew That Crashed in Sinope Return Home
Several Follandan Air Force personnel who's UT-130 crash landed in a Sinopian field last month finally returned home on commercial flights via Calibria and Shayden. The crew could have flown home sooner however they decided to wait in Calibria for their fellow crewmembers that were hospitalized in Sinope due to injuries sustained in the crash, so they could all go home together. The rescue of the Follandan service men and women, along with a couple Military vehicles that were salvaged from the crash is a surprising olive branch between the Follandan and Sinope republics during times of increased political tension, of which Hinali is grateful of. But for the men and women of the Air Force, they're just happy to finally be back home with their families, even though the same cannot be said for the lone Cargo plane Pilot who died in the crash, trying to land the plane as safely as possible. In a statement released by the Military, the Air Force will be awarding the Pilot with the Green Star, Folland's highest commendation for valor above and beyond the call of duty, to his family, as well as a reparations package.

Border Crossing Station Near Oboden Attacked
A border crossing on the Follandan Fraesian border near the city of Oboden was attacked in the evening hours of June 17th. A mid sized truck attempting to pass through the station into Folland detonated an explosive after border patrol canines discovered something suspicious about the vehicle. The explosive destroyed the truck and severely damaged the part of the station it was in. Three agents and a canine were killed while another two were injured by debris and shrapnel. The border was temporarily shut down to secure the scene. The bomber was suspected to have been heading for Fort Perondeux, a joint Army Air Force base located near Oboden along the border with Fraesia. The Fort had received numerous threats against it, mostly from Fraesian sources over Folland's previously botched two day Occupation of Fraesia.

You did say we needed Presenters to go along with our bids, and I hate using photos of real people for things, but hey it's not like you're short on bids at all this time around. The whole forum placed one. And about the ships, Military wants to keep it hush hush for the meantime as they piece together things.

Ikkens Air Force Base Reopens in Lovise
Up in the highlands, in the shadow of the Lovise Mountains and just northeast of Leahpolis sits the newly renovated air base housing several squadrons of Air Force units, stationed near the Folland-Mitron border. The base was given a second runway as well as new facilities to house newly built unmanned aircraft of the military's Drone program. Informer reporters along with others were given a limited tour of the base.

Rare Lovise Mineral Uncovers Breakthrough
The Informer reported before on the discovery of unusual gemstones deep in the Lovise Mountains that were uncovered by the Government's resource mining initiative. This week, Geologists and Mineralogists studying samples of the gems released their findings that elaborated on their previous claim that the mineral exudes "odd properties when subjected to beams of light". Their findings discovered that these properties, when exposed to powerful enough light sources create compacted and focused beams of light so powerful it becomes like a laser. This discovery would give scientists a natural replacement to already developed mechanical methods.

Military Takes Larger Role in Fusion Research Facility Security
After the terrorist attack on Terol island's Nuclear Fusion Research Facility, the Military has moved in hundreds more personnel from the Army's 3rd Infantry as well as stationing a Squadron of Helicopter gunships on the island, effectively making it a Military Base. Several warships of the Navy's 1st Fleet have been temporarily stationed just off the coast of the island as cleanup continues. Inspectors have begun to move through the Facility, examining the extent of the damage before repairs can begin.

Security Beefs Up at Folland-Fraesian Border
After the recent car bombing of a Follandan border station, Folland's Border Patrol has stationed a dozen more Agents at the border near Oboden. The amount of threats against Folland's border and the nearby Follandan Military base of Fort Pondereaux has urged the Military to carry out it's own patrols near the border, consisting of Armored Vehicle patrols and Reconnaissance helicopters. The Military released a statement saying there's not buildup of troops but just simple measures being implemented to strengthen national security.

Hinali Launches Probe Into Military's Rites Sea Early Warning System
Prime Minister Panin today ordered an investigation into the Military's early warning detection system that covers the Rites Sea and parts of the Cilician nearest to Folland, following the damaging terrorist attack on Folland's Terol island research facility by armed seafaring vessels on the scale of Navy warships. The Panin administration was bewildered to believe that unknown armed ships were able to approach Terol island undetected until it was too late. The decision to launch the probe also came under pressure from the international community blaming the attack partially on Folland's lackluster security.

Prime Minister Calls High Council to Meeting
The Prime Minister, Secretary of the Republic and the High Council convened in an emergency meeting yesterday to discuss the attack on Terol Island's Nuclear Fusion research facility, what the Military knows so far, and the possible actions to take. The session was closed to the media and is still ongoing. It is assumed the Prime Minister will make a statement at the conclusion of the session. The largest question on the public's mind however still remains. Who did it? And what will Folland do about it. People across the country, especially families and friends of those who died during the attack desire justice.

BREAKING NEWS;

The Military released a statement today that it's Salvage crews who had scoured the wreckage of the hostile seafaring ships that attacked Terol island have discovered the vessels origins. Mechanical and Hull components salvaged from the ships were traced back to a Shipbuilding facility owned by an international Defense Contractor based out of Kuyrut. It's come to our attention however that the Military knew about this for several days but needed to analyze the rest of the wreckage to confirm the results. Now that Folland knows where the vessels came from, no one is really sure what their next step will be. Obviously the ships used in the terror attack were quite old and obsolete, meaning they must have been bought from any number of countries who first purchased them from the Kuyrutian Company. In this case the Company and Kuyrut itself cannot be held responsible, and it will be very difficult to find out who the "middle man" was.

In related news, the Identities of the captured terrorists from the sunk ships remain classified as they continue to be questioned and held by the Navy.

Patriotism Soars, Army Recruiting Soars
Follandan Informer - Page 23 Soldiers%20carrying%20flag

Many will say that War is never the answer. But that doesn't stop the Army from reporting a record number of volunteers in years due to an unbridled sense of patriotism spreading across the country, especially after the recent terror attack on a closely guarded Nuclear Fusion Research Facility on Terol Island. The country's Greenly Backed White Star has become a symbol for the citizen's desire for Pure Liberty and a progressive and thriving society. And many of these people believe they can help this way of life continue to live by donning the uniform and picking up a rifle. Some 'peace activists' have spread a Military wide stereotype on soldiers, claiming them to be war hungry, savage brutes who take pleasure in causing pain and destruction. Spokemen for the Military can't disagree with these claims enough.

"Our men and women who wear the uniform are so much more than most think." Spokeswoman for the Army said. "Most join up simply to get their lives in track, coming from dead end jobs or a bad home. The Army gives these people an environment to live, learn, and hone skills that will benefit their place in society as well as giving themselves a stronger sense of purpose and confidence. They're definitely not here to be pawns in an agenda for world domination. Contrary to what a Military is usually used for, we don't advocate War. We're here to prevent Wars, not start them."

When the Informer asked what the Army thought about the recent surge in volunteers, it replied with casual admiration.

"We regret that it takes tragic events to spur these people's decisions to join, but it's great to know that so many wish to become a part of a powerful force for good. Each one that volunteers only proves to strengthen the whole and increases our capability to protect what we cherish on Adonia."

Because of established legislation during peacetime, Folland will continue to restrict it's amount of active duty personnel, meaning most of the recent influx of volunteers will be posted to reservist stations after completing basic training.

Biotechnology Startup Company Amuses Colleagues
A Biotech Research facility recently opened in North Uthersfield has caught the attention of social media this week after what the company was researching was shone in the spotlight. Several young Geneticists and Biochemists, most of them straight out of school with their Degrees have begun running experiments with Genetic Engineering and Cloning. The company assured the Informer that any respectable scientific initiative is still years or even decades away from perfecting a method of cloning a Human being, so all of their research right now is strictly preliminary and hypothetical. Still, what caught the attention of social media, and the sneers from fellow Scientists was one of their study focuses. Human and Animal Splicing, or more commonly known as Anthropomorphic Sentient Animals mixed with Human physiology. There's an internet term for this, labeled "Furry" which had become an internet craze amongst some, and a Cancer amongst the rest. But these geneticists claim they are working on the foundations of creating a new species that very well has potential to exist.

"Life can take many different forms." Grant Kerry, head Researcher of Coronal BioTech stated. "We know that Life as we know it however is limited to certain base models, such as our own bipedal Humanoid form. But we've discovered that our DNA is highly susceptible to mutation and manipulation. With the right technology, knowledge and facilities we're certain that we can unlock different sub-species of Human, or even create a whole new sentient species altogether that could live side by side with us."

No matter how mind-boggling Kerry's claims can be, there is major opposition to the idea, most claiming that Humanity has no right to 'play God', and that trying to create life artificially is crossing the line. The research and development of Cloning methods are still legal within Folland, however are strictly regulated.

In The News Toda-ahh screw it..

My name is Michael, and I'm coming to you live from the Informer to let you know that all of you have been puppets this entire time. Yessiree doodle I've been tugging on the strings ever since you've had your identity crisis as "Follmera" and then "Follvirkeland". Poor little things weren't the most stable at the start but you got there didn't you. Yes you did! Who's a good country? You are! Yes you are!

But enough dawdling. It appears my fellow Gods have seen fit to abandon your brothers and sisters across the planet. It's the end of the world as we know it, and you gon' die. Well, not DIE, but y'know, cease to exist cause no one cares about your world anymore. I still do, don't get me wrong. I love you little $censored$. But how can this world go on without a group cooperating with each other to progress the world? It can't y'know, and just lil' ol' me can't do anything to keep your little existence afloat. Let your dogs pig out on the cat food and give your loved ones a good last late night fuking cause there ain't gon' be another sunrise. Might as well quit your jobs, sell your bodies, or hell climb a tree butt nekkid. Enjoy the end times! M.C. Mike, God of your world, I'm outy. Peace.
