Assassination in Tatra
16 June, 2014, Tarnow, Tatra - After over two weeks, reports of the situation in Tatra were finally publicized. It's been revealed the rebels in Tarnow have stormed the office of the President of Tatra and assassinated him and killed his guards. It has not been revealed about what the military of Tatra has done to deal with the rebels, but the rebels are not yet in full control of the country. The intention of the rebels may be linked to Tatra's isolationism and the human rights abuses in the country. If this is true, this situation shows how unstable Tatra is. The acting President of Tatra, Taras Karnek, has stated he will do "anything to stop the rebels", but his words sound hollow. If the military of Tatra couldn't prevent rebels from assassinating the President of Tatra, perhaps these rebels are not alone in causing discontent in Tatra? The President of the Malinovan Federation, Volodymyr Savchenko, ordered troops to remain cautious in southern Malinova in case the Tatran instability spreads across the border.
Kalinogorod, You're a Lady
16 June, 2014, Kalinogorod, Malinovan Federation - As bidding for the hosts of uSong 2014 begins, Kalinogorod has entered the race, racing many other cities in the United Sovereign Nations of the World toward the ultimate finish line - hosting the uSong 2014. The Grand Kalinogorod Theatre has been selected to be the main venue for the event.
As many Malinovan artists competed to have their songs represent the Malinovan Federation in uSong 2014, the dual Potap and Nastya's "Vse Puchkom" stood above them all. The song is typical of popular Malinovan songs and is a good choice to represent the Malinovan Federation. Although the song did get the majority vote, the next top songs were "Vmeste", also by Potap and Nastya, "Strilai" by Okean Elzy, and "Odna Kalyna" by Sophia Rotaru, the unofficial pop anthem of the Malinovan Federation.
