"A real soldier has to risk everything, every single day. Death could come in an instant at any moment, it's permanent. War is never supposed to be 'cool'. A soldier's true duty, is to prevent war, not to fight one." ~Michael Valentine Moen

-Official Statement of the Ministry of Safety-

Ladies and Gentlemen of Adonia,

The State of the world is ever changing, so we, as the appointed leaders of our peoples must come
together and share our ideas on how to better the world as it is today, in order to strengthen it's security,
in order to safeguard our children's futures, in order to provide a life free of strife and conflict. War may be
cemented in our nature, but we have the power to overcome such neanderthal urges. Please discuss here
ways we, as a world community can further better our civilization.

Our mission in Okaiken is to spread peace and condemn the horrors of war. Our nation have experienced this horror during the Great Adonian War, when several of our citizens were killed, mutilated and severely injured. We believe that era is completely behind us, but we could not completely close this horrendous chapter without completely resolving things by education. Education holds the key for peace and prosperity.

Valessia strongly advocates the concept of peace and a nuclear-free Adonia. We are all capable of living peacefully in harmony.

The Federal government of Folland agrees and does truly believe in a peaceful world for it's people and their children. Because of this very mindset, the Follandan government decreased it's Military spending by as much as 5% this last fiscal year, freeing up billions of Sents for other projects concerning infrastructure, education, and energy.

*The recent actions in Fraesia have nothing to do with Folland's true beliefs in this matter.

CURRENT STATE OF THE WORLD
- January 3rd, 2014C.E. -

- -

The current state of the world is RELATIVELY STABLE.

*The Bergen Civil War and the West Althenian Coalition Intervention has subsided. Bergenstein is now in a state of peace and repair. Bergenstein is presumed to be on track for social stability and growth now that warring factions have ceased their actions.

*The War in Malo is coming to a cease. Most if not all of the remaining militants have halted their efforts to resist and most of the country is secured. Prime Minister Cathleen of Folland has assured the world that troop withdrawals will be happening within the coming months if the cease in conflict continues.

*The anti-government riots in Eastern Folland have died down completely during Miss Chancellor Moen's time in office, and the anti-government sentiment has disappeared almost completely.

*Oxacmela and Itzamna's war on drugs continues to crackdown on drug kingpins with Shayden's aid. The lack of leadership has hurt the drug trade's efforts in the region.
