The plot thickens today as modernists have discovered a torture chamber in a top secrete location that we are not allowed to reveal. It was discovered when a party of Modernist militants were on patrol near the area. They only noticed it due the strange look of the building. Nobody was inside but there was evidence that the victims had been recent. The tools that were found were apparently so shocking that a number of the men were sick. They are currently receiving counselling to help them recover from their experience. The Modernist Justice Minister said in a statement today that he invites specialists to examine the evidence. Pictures of this have been censored by the modernist government as they were deemed just too horrible. You will be updated if more information can be shared

Traditionalists today in the capital of Miensburg have reported that Modernists have fired 4 shells into the traditionalist sector of the city of which one was a dud. 6 houses were destroyed in the disaster. Luckily only one person has died, with 3 others sustaining life changing but not life threatening injuries. In a short interview with Clara Geldspitz she said, "We were going about the usual morning routine of an early morning, me and my daughter were getting breakfast while my husband and son were in the back room doing god knows what. All of a sudden I heard this strange whistling noise then it stopped. Then came the explosion which I barely remember. The next thing I noticed was lying on the floor trapped and looking at my daughter also trapped. After that the next thing I properly remember is waking up is hospital after surgery. That is when I delightfully found out that I no longer have any legs and that my daughter is a T5 paraplegic. It was hard to stomach but the hospital staff are very nice. They allowed me to have my bed next to my daughters so that is nice. The rest of my family is fine so I am as happy as I can be." A rather cheery look on what there is a horrific breach of the peace

The first minister of the now dissolved central government was found earlier today dead in Brendenland earlier today when a farmer was herding his cattle for the early morning milking came across him. The First Minister had hung himself from a tree in a field on top of a desolate hill in Brendenland. The body had a note attached explaining his failure as a member of the Government to stop total war breaking out. We cannot unfortunately show the content of the letter due to the secrets act 1646 of Emmenland. However it did contail many parts of vital information.

In other news:
A 167 strong research team has revealed that around 78% of all Bergensteiners now possess a gun and is willing to attack the other side. The difference between sides was largely leaning towards the Traditionalist but the majority of those weapons are outdated.

3 Men in a munitions accident have died in southern Cellmradon. A 30lb bomb had been dropped and accidently landed on it's fuse. The explosion killed 3 nearby soldiers. Luckily apart from the airport trolley and concrete ground, nothing was severely damaged. The concrete was in a non vital area so little disturbance was created.

Today in the capital of Miensburg, Just a few hours ago, fighting has started. The cause of the fighting is currently unknown {{Read the story with Chris in to find out}}. However it is believed that it was a misfire causing a great deal of panic.
The quality of soldiers in Miensburg varies rather drastically. It is a mix of the best and the standard citizen with a gun. However the Traditionalists do have a significant amount of mechanised weapons which is currently proving to be a major problem for Modernist infantry armed only with small arms and IEDs.
A current warning is to stay away from the front lines, although the rest of the majority of Bergenstein is still not at war. More details will hopefully available soon

It has come to the time when peace has failed us. Now along the entirety of the front line, there is war. It is the time that we all must choose a side and then sacrifice all we have achieved in a 150 years. It is time that we decide how the downfall of Bergenstein. Bergenstein is in tatters. The Miet army has retaken the majority of Mienemstadt. The army flushed the city out using light mobile armoured infantry and using the militias to mop up remaining resistance. The only area not to fall to the Traditionalists is the airport. It is however under siege. No heavy artillery is being used due to it's strategic importance.

The Schwieset 26th medium artillery and the 5th and 9th heavy artillery have started the siege of Mallerhime, the city which holds a massive Modernist military presence. The artillery involved is of good quality and the Schwieset have been stockpiling shells for an extremely long time (which of corse means some are rather old.) The bombardment began 3 hours ago and our sources tell us it has caused a great deal of panic among the Modernist leadership. The Modernists have attempted to fire back with what little in the terms of artillery they have. An artillery observer has said "where the **** are they". The artillery of the Traditionalist armies is well hidden. The survival of Modernists is looking slim in Mallerhime

I have never heard "armored" infantry before. I've heard mechanized infantry, armored units, and armor as in tank, but never armored infantry.

Otherwise, it seems we finally have war.
