Following discussions with the Coalition, Étrusque will invade Bergenstein from the south with it's land forces. The actual invasion started early this morning along the full stretch of Bergenstein. Troops have entered with the full power of not only the Atlan (mountain troops who focus on the Atlas mountains) troops but the main Étruscan army.

In the more mountainous parts Berg's Mountain armies are holding strong but nearer the Aescailian boarder progress of around 5 miles has been made. The air force launched aerial attacks on Atlan strongholds and shot down one old Schwieset Jet Fighter made in the sixties. Three Dassault Mirage's were shot down by AA guns. Non of the major fortresses have yet been breeched despite an attempted assault by Étruscan assault troops.

The Premier of Étrusque said today, "..we are moving into Bergen Lands to restore safety to those living there" though after that came a rather stark insult, "..infact not restore, bring them safety."

In similar news the Bergen command has told the media that they believe that Brullen will invade in the next few days, troops or what are available are being moved towards the Brullan boarder, at the moment it is believed that their target will be Burgenburg. No further information is available and may still be false but the Bergen Coalition seems sure enough to move vast amounts of troops on the already knackered infrastructure.

In slightly more recent news Sinope is planning to deploy drones to attack hostile targets in cities around Bergenstein. Most cities do have air raid shelters in Bergenstein but many could not withstand modern bombing. This new attack will barely affect the civilian death toll due to the amount of deaths but it is still more deaths that this world has responsibility for. When will the bloodshed end.

Light at the End of the Tunnel



Today Etruscan paratroopers entered the capital city of Bergenstein Verwaltungstadt at 11 o'clock local time and swiftly moved through the largely deserted city taking out small pockets of resistance by poorly armed locals.

The Etruscan Premier said "the operation has gone smoothly with minimal casualties. On top of this we have beaten our Brullan allies to Verwaltungstadt, what a perfect day."

After such devastating news to the Bergen resistors a surrender note is expected at any time though this still could be a difficult agreement if peace is returned.

Berg has lost most of it's air capability and lots of armour. They are attempting to compensate this with old equipment but with little success. On the other hand Coalition forces are still is a decent condition though all sides have had losses.

Are you serious? Bruellen's been in Verwaltungstadt all week. Seeing as it's closest to the Bruellan border, you'd think we'd make it there first, correct? But no, for some reason you claimed that we'd face strong resistance from the dismal forces but Etrusque can just walk all over them?

No. I don't even care, Bergenstein is a just a dark place, nobody has a clue what goes on there.

The war of Bergenstein has come to it's climax and delivered a terrible blow. In doing so it is wiped out. In the early hours of the morning in the bustling capital city of Bergenstein under Etruscan control saw a flag rise above the royal palace. The Royals had been long gone, before the civil war they left for more traditionalist surroundings. But today the building had been entered an the Bergenstein flag of war flew from the flagpole.

The Etruscans just passed it off as propaganda but this was soon to be corrected. An hour later a series of 300 pre set explosions went off in the city. This cause most of all panic. 20 people were injured, only one of them was a civilian as the majority of the capital was deserted. A small number of artillery guns that were still left in Bergen control fired upon the capital. This caused yet more destruction. The Etruscan air support took out several of these emplacements.
Soon after that several civilian planes flew towards the capital. These planes were civilian so were left alone for long enough so that they could begin to release tonnes of explosives. Berg has no real bombs nor planes left so not all IEDs wet off causing more terror on the ground. The majority of these aircraft were shot down. The city was set ablaze, the fire crews were non existent and therefore the city burnt and is still burning now.

Etruscan Casulties are still uncounted for but the question is how did such a disaster happen. Rumours have it that a Bergen agent may have sabotaged vital intelligence but it is still unclear.

However, at half 7 there was a radio announcement which read: "Hello Bergenstein, this is the last message you shall have off your high king for some time, if not forever. We today obliterated our own capital. And in doing so we committed our final act. This war is lost, it was doomed from the start, now we must accept our loss. To accept it we must stop the war. Thousands if not tens or hundreds of thousands are dead. We have got to stop to live. So go home, change out of your uniform and hide it along with your gun somewhere safe. Repair you home and your community. Help each and every sole and remember who you are and what you stand for. Remember not me as I have brought this war but remember BERGENSTEIN"

Following the statement many soldiers have ceased fighting though the Coalition most certainly does not have full control

Damn son.

I expect the Coalition will set up a form of puppet government and occupy the country for some time.
