Staatliche Reform Act



Today we have implemented the new reform to our states. This has been in planning for some time and is virtually complete. This last week we have redistributed command and supplies. Units have changed thus making us ready for the coming invasion. You now may hold your head up high for your state fly the flag of you country and fight to save what we have. No matter how many bombs fall, how many soldiers attack. No matter how good their weapons are, how many shells are fired. We will win with intelligence and planning.

So... Mod/Trad Civil War is suddenly over, and what's left has unified to prepare for the Coalition Intervention. I guess the only thing the Bergen hates more than each other, are outsiders gunning for them.

Well, not that I don't believe they can be united against the common enemy.... But I'm assuming the units are segregated, and as a result different areas are under differing command and as such we can expect varying strategies, often conflicting, as well as arguments within high command, and overall ineffectiveness by the Bergen defense?

Yes bergenstein has technology, smart phones and that lot. And chris the units are segragated and yes but they do have the same strategy, the officail pre civil war one with a few little changes.

It's just that both sides are going to be competing against each other to have superior results, and in a military generals will always have differing opinions on how to handle a situation. I'm sure both sides will even perhaps have races to take more ground quicker and have more victories, which, besides it's lack of military strength versus several other industrialized nations, will surely lead to it's quick demise.

3 Kids Killed

3 Kids aged 13, 15 and 16 in the early hours of today were found dead in a destroyed house. With them they had an improvised anti tank gun and 2 MSG-550s.
A witness whose identity and loyalty we are protecting said that, "An Aescailian Light tank was driving along the road with about six soldiers escorting it came under fire. From a house a gun was fires and some anti tank device was fired. The Anti tank device missed but one soldier was instantly killed by it.
"The people in the house obviasly couldn't win but they carried on, by which point you could tell that they were young. The light tank (an AMX-13) then fire at the building. The front was completely blown apart.
"when soldiers went up to the ruin they spat on the children." This is a terrible day in this war, unfortunately at the scene there are AMX-13 tracks and 3 dead children who have now been buried.

Sinopians claim they have damaged all of the coastal defences, well they are wrong, the deeper level ones are operating as normal armed with torpedoes and naval artillery. Our coasts are protected.
In a Dogfight of 7 Bergen Planes against 10 Abbasidi. In which 6 planes were destroyed, three of each. All the pilots are alive though the three Abbasidi pilots are the first POWs of the war. One of them is receiving medical care.

Are you trying to just be in denial (propaganda) over what is going on, or are you just trying to do God Modding of the sorts?

I really, really don't want you guys to turn this into; "this happened. no it didnt. yes it did. no." We need to be better roleplayers than that, and you guys need to seriously discuss this roleplay and make compromises in order to have the story go forward fairly and believably.

I love that, "Well they are wrong" part. It makes out sound like kids on the playground or simmering.

It is half propaganda half truth. There is no godmodding. The Abbasidi getting shot was agreed by Dejon and well ALL coastal defences cannot be destroyed, so this article is over emphasising that like Juls over emphasised that ALL the defences were destroyed

That's why the both of you need to not over emphasize and talk this over a lot more, or at least be more modest in your claims.

I didn't over emphasised anything. I didn't say all defenses were destroyed. You guys are clearly overreacting. First of all, Alex and I had talks over this. Then, if a misinterpretation of my news article in the Braavos Globe leaded to this 'half-propaganda' article, then it's perfectly fine. Freedom of the press guys, nations not taking part of the intervention/war are not supposed to know in details what's happening anyways and misinformation from both sides are common in real life. It's not Viet Nam where cameras were permitted and everywhere. If Alex has any issues with what we had previously discussed anyways, he'll communicate with me, or other Coalition RPers (aka Jon, Dejon).
