In order to bid to host the USNW Usong competition, a relatively light event to host, you mush submit the following information and content in the thread. We encourage everyone to bid for these hosting rights!

Metro Population
Venue Name
Venue Picture (medium to large indoor venue, theater layout works best)
6 City Pictures (not including venue picture)

Bidding ends October 8th at 11:99 PM GMT -6! Hurry and get your bids in!

Bidding ends tomorrow though .. 4days isn't enough time to process the idea, organise the stuff in game and take pictures to show, in my opinion. I won't be bidding this time, although I'd like to, but will likely start getting one together for the next one.

The winner of the hosting rights for the USong Competition have been decided by our selection committee. The committee was made up of 2b2gbi, Saathoff, and I. The votes were close but our winner has been chosen.

All song selections are now unchangeable but if you would still like to compete please PM me with your song. Congratulations Dantanaea! Please have me 4 night pictures for the closing ceremony sometime soon, please.

Why was this not voted on but went to a selection committee? Just so I understand the reason behind it.

Corruption? All real life event hosts are selected by committees not by legislatures. What are you talking about? The United Nations General Assembly doesn't vote on the FIFA World Cup host, why would our Assembly vote on the host of this?

Probably best you don't use the USNW in the title then as it sounds like an Official USNW activity. If it's a personal competition then maybe name it after your Nations and something like that.

Dude fox chill out. Its a union activity and there was a selection committee of three people. They voted and this was the result. Theres no problem with it. Quit questioning chips motives, he's trying to get activity going, i wouldnt begin to question that.

I'm chill, sounds like everyone else isn't though, sorry for posting an opinion. I applaud what he is trying to do, but I do question the voting style that is different to other aspects here at USNW. But being that it is a private competition I understand how he explains it and accept that.
