A Proposal From Charles Brown, First Minister, Full Member, and Althenian Nation
I, Charles Brown, would like to make a proposal to allow the creation of continent-oriented or mulit-continent-oriented (if continents have to few members to create an alliance, they may choose to join another alliance) alliance and treaty groups. This would allow for greater cooperation and safety among our nations in cases of military unrest. Each continent has the right to create their own alliance and treaty groups, and also has the right to refrain from creating one. Each alliance will consist of a council made up of the representatives from the member nations, the council will have a Chairman who will be responsible for representing the group and doing all the daily jobs required of the alliance, the alliance may elect to have a Vice-Chairman who would help the Chairman. Each member nation would have one vote and all matters concerning military action or reaction would require a two-thirds vote, and any other legislation of sort will require simple majority. If alliance size is compliant (6+), the group will elect two Senior Members who will have the authority to veto any action or legislation, the senior members may also be the chairman or vice-chairman
