The board of TeleInsulo corporation is filing civil suit against the Government of Puget on the basis that the government is violating it's own anti-monopoly laws and unfairly denying companies in the telecom sector the right to compete with PugetTelecom. This also denies consumers the right to make a choice from a fair selection of telecom providers.
By sectioning TeleInsulo Dawson off into Dawson Province, while the government gives PugeTelecom free reign in the rest of the country. This practice inhibits the competition of businesses and gives PugeTelecom a government-sponsored monopoly over the telecom sector in Puget, therefore creating a lack of options for Pugetine consumers. Pugetine officials claim that the restrictions that hold TeleInsulo in Dawson Province are in place to prevent a monopoly, while they do exactly the opposite. TeleInsulo is suing for rights to expand to other provinces of Puget and provide consumers in Puget with a fair selection of telecom service providers, and for the removal of unfair restrictions that prohibit other countries from expanding to Puget.
