Case Proposal: The Imperial Federal Kingdom of Troix v. The People's Republic of Peilan

The Imperial Federal Kingdom of Troix would like to bring the case against the PRP for an incident in the Ameka Islands.

A little briefing

The Ameka Islands are a group of small islands located North of the island of Yagi. It is currently administered by Troix as being part of the Oshima Prefecture, but it is also claimed by the People's Republic of Peilan. The islands are administered by Troix since the end of the Great Adonian War and it falls to the 200km EEZ Zone of Troix.

About the incident yesterday

Yesterday, at around 4:00 pm Fortilla Time, a group of Peilanese Naval Vessels entered Sanese Territory and started firing at several fishing boats in the area. 3 boats were sunk and a total of 5 people were killed in these attacks. This caused our country to declare an intrusion warning. After the incident, one of our planes captured some photos of the Peilanese Naval Vessels in the Area.

The PRP will be represented by Ale, and this was brought up -- with Ale's dedication -- to revive some of the dead forums in the USNW... We also brought this to see if we guys are helping each other, given to the fact that Troix does not have a formidable armed forces and it will succumb to PRP rule if no help was reached -- I wouldn't want that to happen. I hope you'll understand better.

PS - If this case will be declined, we'll have no choice but to kick out ambassadors (with the exception of Ordanus, Gamat and Ruteria) for precautionary reasons (I wouldn't want some of your citizens dying).

The Emperor was completely dissatisfied in the decision and has kicked out the Grandian Delegation (remember the coronation) from the palace for overstaying and they have been given free airline tickets back to Grand.

Well, even if the case was not thrown out, the High Court has no jurisdiction over PRP, so any verdict would be meaningless. However, there is a potential court case I see that would not be thrown out for lack of jurisdiction... (hint hint hint)

You can request help in the Foreign Affairs Ministry or someplace similar, but the High Court is not the place to ask for defense from an NPC.

As I said, there's other potential cases that could be used to revive this forum; reviving this forum is definitely a very good idea though

Roleplay is definitely a very good idea, but if you need aid and/or defense for your country, you could always take advantage of the help other countries, from Posillipo to Grand, is sending Troix (after all, isn't that what aid is for; to help a country get back on its feet)

Charging them in the USNW high court is like if you're a guy from India, complaining to an Indian court, because someone trespassed on one of your properties in England (The Indian court, like the USNW High Court, has no jurisdiction over the trespasser in either case)

We're in no way trying to inhibit role-play, but it makes no sense to charge the PRP in the USNW High Court, they aren't a member of USNW so the High Court has no jurisdiction over the PRP, which would make this all meaningless, if you and Ale want to play out a crisis or something, look to what some of our past members have done, like Jon.

We should wait for Ale's response before we finalize any decision about this.
