Combined Opening Statement of Troix and Grand, Belluterra, & Malo
We wish to bring the accused before the High Court on charges of arrest and execution without trial of a great number of political dissidents, forcibly transferring populations of entire villages to other parts of the country, widespread police brutality, forbidding travel out of the country without a special permit, and mass murder of civillian populations. The following is an extract from the Ustrakovian magazine "Ustrakovskaja Novinska Agencija": Goodmorning readers,in this article of Istina,the free Magazine of Ustrakovia that doesn't hide the real news,we will talk about one of best thing that are occoured in Ustrakovia in the last...70 years!
After the signing of the ceasefire in Manastan yesterday evening and after some protests against the war in our major cities,the Government was reunited in the "Great All" in the Zhydin skyscraper palace in Belskoe by the president Nikolaj Aktyubov,to talk about the crisis and the wars in Ustrakovia. First they talked about the violence of the Insitutions and of the militia/police. During a normal protests,isn't strange that more than 300 people be sent to the hospital,because of the violence of the policemens. So,they decided to be less violent,and Ustrakovia have to be a more free state. By today,everyone who wants can travel OUT of Ustrakovia to other countries can do it! The laws will be less hard and the police's power will be limited! Great news,no?
Well,then there's the Manastan case. As you should know,in the last days thousands of people died during the civil war. Yesterday was signed a ceasefire and the government did a Peacekeeping request. Well,Nikolaj Aktyubov with the Ministry of Defence, the Sochijan (from Sochij-Tyushamenskyj Republic) Ali Sadzorev,
decided to stop with the violences and with the fightings,the next month,all the UNA/UPA(Ustrakovian People's Army) members with their armor,have to withdrawn from Manastan to their barracks and stay there.
The damaged/destroyed houses will be repaired by the Government,and people will return there without problems.
So,as Free Magazine,we hope that Ustrakovia will become better than now!
Troix:Analysis:
1. It is biased;
2. All media is Ustrakovia are state controlled;
3. "During a normal protests,isn't strange that more than 300 people be sent to the hospital,because of the violence of the policemens."
This clearly shows that the police use violence most of the time on Ustrakovian citizens.
As you can see, all things in the magazine were either incorrect, biased, or unrealistic; it is evident that there may also be a possibility of secret arrests during protests which are not mentioned in the article. Furthermore, deaths are quite likely if the police are as brutal as mentioned, and as you can see, the article was written in a tone of patriotism, which shows that only good news was shown.
"After the signing of the ceasefire in Manastan yesterday evening and after some protests against the war in our major cities,the Government was reunited in the "Great All" in the Zhydin skyscraper palace in Belskoe by the president Nikolaj Aktyubov,to talk about the crisis and the wars in Ustrakovia"
Protests will still continue, and after that article no report was made on the developing political situation; instead, it talked about a book. A book! That shows that they are hiding something; I can say that from the experience in the incidents with the People's Republic of Peilan, this shows a classic example of censorship because only the good news was presented and there is no bad news associated with it. From the "ceasefire", it is clearly shown that there is no ceasefire since a day or two ago soldiers attacked Manastan dissidents who were unarmed and unexperienced in battle. There were no military conflicts inside Ustrakovia until this incident, which shows that Ustrakovia forcibly invaded the state to kill people that were against the government in Ustrakovia. In the meeting in the 'Great All'(sic), only the leaders of the states in Ustrakovia met, which means that not all people in Ustrakovia were presented.
If the reports of a ceasefire are correct, it is also possible that the government has ceased fire because there were no political dissidents since they were all slaughtered by soldiers in Ustrakovia. Second of all in my evidence, the 2 articles in the magazine (the first report and then the magazine report) do not match. That means that one of them is untrue. However, we already know which one is not true and that is both magazine articles. As I said above, the second article is untrue because the "rebels" were crushed by the soldiers in the region long before the ceasefire, as indicated by the word "LIBERATED". Second of all, the articles in the first magazine is also biased, as we can see that there were only 5 soldiers killed. It hides the real news since the city of Qolasani/Kolashanoe was was mortared by government soldiers, which means that there may be some civillian people killed in the city.
As a final piece of evidence, I shall call upon this report from San José's intelligence service, which "discovered the truth in Ustrakovia,those people that they call "terrorists" aren't real terrorists,they are only rebels that want a free state...so,the real "BAD" are the Ustrakovians,that kill the population and destroy villages". That is all I have to say for now, your honor.Grand, Belluterra, and Malo"This attack was an answer to the Manastani rebel attack at the Aktyubov barracks in the city of Qolasani/Kolashanoe."
As no evidence has been given for this supposed attack, it's quite possible that the "attack" had been staged by the Ustrakovian Government, inspired by the strategy Rheinland dictator Heinrich Dältz implemented over 50 years ago, when, just prior to invading Sureicha during the Great Adonian War, he forced dozens of POWs to attack border facilities dressed in Sureichan military uniforms. The POWs were quickly killed, but Dältz already had a casus belli to invade Sureicha. I believe that the Ustrakovians implemented the same idea in this supposed attack."The laws will be less hard and the police's power will be limited!"
Ah, but how much easier will the laws get and how much will the police have their power limited? Furthermore, will the police even allow their powers to be limited? And if they are, what's to stop them from still being brutal without authorization?"The damaged/destroyed houses will be repaired by the Government,and people will return there without problems."
With all the recent turmoil in the Ustrakovian government, complicated by the fact that the President and his entire cabinet have literally run away and hid themselves, I doubt that the government will have the time or the money to rebuild the destroyed buildings, towns, and villages anytime soon. I also doubt that the deported populations will be able to return anytime soon, much less without problems, for similar reasons. That is all I have to say for now, your honor.
