LA VOZ - THE VOICE OF SAN JOSE'

Military maneuvers in Casteddu region shake the local population
-
LA VOZ - THE VOICE OF SAN JOSE' 58495207
Carali - 18.40 hs -- < We were all at home,we were celebrating Christmas with our family when...our forniture began to tremble,"it's an heartquake" said my husband...>
Was it an heartquake? No,only the 2nd Brigade of San José's national guard moving on Casteddu ,at the south of San José, region's countryside. It's not the first time that our National Guard moves on our territory with no announcement or warning. Local institutions in Carali, the seat of Casteddu government, decided to talk with the generals of our army and with the Ministry of Defence and of the Guard Antonio Jalìn Torrìon,about their 'annoying' maneuvers.

But we can say that the Military maneuvers are a 'tradition' in Casteddu. We all remember the annual Christmas Parade in Carali, where the entire National Guard of San José parade on Piazza Auditoria and thousands and thousands of Caralians go to see that. We have below a photo taken during 2011's celebrations.

We want to advice everyone that the maneuvers are NOT FINISHED and pay attention.

So,Ladies and Gentlemens, it's all for tonight, there aren't any other important news. Good night by TV1 television and from LA VOZ's editorial staff!

LA VOZ - THE VOICE OF SAN JOSE'

It was precisely twenty years ago when...

LA VOZ - THE VOICE OF SAN JOSE' 57718012

LA VOZ - THE VOICE OF SAN JOSE' Berlinbeat

Good evening ladies and gentlemens, this morning,at 11a.m more than 40.000 people protested against our Socialist Government. It was everything normal until the arriving of our Militia and of our National Guard's 45th brigade. The militians and the soldiers started a bloody fighting with the protesters, who attacked the Government Palace. The survived demonstrants talk about 2000 deaths, but the deaths are more than 2000. For more informations, this evening,at 18pm,on TV1 channel, Canal1 Noticias...

Taken by the 27th December breaking news on Canal1 Noticias.

It was 12 a.m,and the breaking news of Canal1 Noticias informed us of this events. We all knew that the protest in Calvazara was the biggest one of San José during fall of communism. But,at these words,we all were shaken by that news. But,unfortunately,it was the reality, more than 2000 people was dying in Calvazara. Finally,6000 people died.
We were all afraid, but we were very angry too:6000 people. How you can imagine, the government fell few months later(but officially it fell in 1994).
Now ,in Calvazara there are more than 200.000 people, friends, parents and relatives of the deaths or simply the participants of the riots, at the "Ceremony of Memory".
The Bishop of Calvazara,Juan Jarrìn,will do a mass for the deaths. All these things are done for don't forget that bloody day,a black page of San José's glorious history,to remember that San José is a free, democratic country. Long live to San José and to San Joséans!

You can't ever go wrong with history lessons Smile

It's interesting in the sense that I could actually picture a news story like that. Nicely done.

LA VOZ - THE VOICE OF SAN JOSE'

Emergency:Manastan(Ustrakovia)

More than 3 hours after the Ustrakovia's request of peacekeeping in the Manastan Socialist Republic (part of Ustrakovia),where there's a bloody civil war,our government decided to send some Helicopters with food and medicines for the Manastani population. We sent also some army observers. Then,1 hour ago,our Ministry of Defense, sent to Manastan 10 our army's Jets to control the zone.
We can say that the food and the medicines arrived in Manastan with no problems and the population could take it without problems, the Ustrakovian soldiers helped us without polemics and we did a good work.
We hope that this situation will finish as soon as possible.
