Utrovan History Proposal

So, on the Skype I have claimed that Adonian Jesus Christ is from Utrova, I just started this topic to see if anyone is against it.

I agree on that he could be born in Utrova.

Im fine with it. Kinda gives us a base for the religions related to him. Im okay with it. Its just a starting place. Not a big deal

I'm going to abstain, I don't like the idea of religion being brought in to the game in a big sense like this.

I agree with Fox. Besides, I'm not a religious person either so I don't care.

Religion really shouldn't play a big role in this game. The more you take it seriously, the more reason for people to disagree and fight over things. Religion tends to be a rather hot topic to touch. I'm not voting on this.

I very strongly oppose, I agree with Qorten, this shouldn't be a topic that goes into SimCity. There is one Jesus. And plus some people don't believe in Him so maybe they don't want Him on Adonia in the first place...

I also am fine with him being from Utrova, as otherwise it would not make much sense for there to be Christians on Adonia, as Adonia has never had contact with Earth (Earth being thousands of light-years away)

As i stated im fine with it. But i think maybe religious figures shouldnt be based here. But our people should maybe think this figures are from a far away planet or area. That way were not messing with where real religions started. Like Christians will have the Bible and the reference to Earth for us is just an unknown, so we see Earth as a holy place.

Very true. Religions that exist in real-life should be something that should be avoided in unions, especially on those with different planets. You all know that this is a hot topic.

For Christians and Jews out there: read the first and second commandments before you vote on this.

I agree. First 2 commandments. It answers this all. I still think our people should have the current forms of religious texts, but again whats in those texts they believe, which may see as earth as where things came from. Remember that our planet doesn't know any lifeforms outside of our own planet, so it would work very well.

Well basicly, I meant this if Earth didn't really exist, and to make more sense about religion on Adonia.

I don't agree with this, I am fine with having religion on Adonia, but I think they if we're going to have these religious figures they need to be from a country that isn't owned by a member. I don't think that it's fair for us to just claim Jesus...

We'd know there is a planet maybe out there. As far as we know i think we know earth is out there, but we dont know where. As far as our Milky Way map shows, we do know theres a sun in the Solar System area

I'd say that they know as much about Earth as we know about another planet in another solar system. We think that there may be another form of life, but it's unclear.

Totally agree .. and if people are so hell bent on being associated with Earth then why not just move to another Union and make your Nation on Earth.

I've changed my mind from an abstain to a no vote based on the arguments listed by the last 10 or so posts.

Ok, I guess that means that Christianity is based on the Bible that mentions earth as a sacred planet.
