The New World War
An all out conflict on the Euphemian continent (as well as others)
between two belligerents and or their allies in a conventional ground war.
The New World War will be an ALTERNATE roleplay set in Euphemia and any other theaters deemed necessary for the story. This is going to be classic Call of Duty style action here. The world has gone completely in the crapper and there's no more talks or diplomacy. It's a status quo changing game.
Euphemia is reeling from the Dead War. Fraesia is in chaos and the threat of nukes has but the world's piercing stare on Acadia. The Euphemian Bloc was never created and nations are starting to take sides. Relations are all but extinct, but who will make the first move? Populations are uniting under flags and banners. Patriotism, Nationalism and differing political ideals are taking hold. There's no more question. The great plains of Euphemia are going to erupt in flame and smoke and the outcome, if there will be any, will be nothing short of the end to either side. But again, who will make the first move? Who will retaliate? Where will these battles take place? It's time to discuss what's happened, what's going to happen, and where you stand in all this.
It's the end of the world as we know it. What will you do to change it.

RULES:
- NO weapons of mass destruction. Nuclear weapons do unfortunately exist but will NOT be used at all. In the event that a roleplaying nation thinks one may be used during roleplay, it has to be put to a majority vote amongst all participants and it HAS to be a tactical warhead of the smallest yield. If the vote is in favor, the target must NOT be civilian.
- NO Biological or Chemical weapons, period. No exceptions.
- NO Godmodding. This is obvious but unfortunately was still rampant in the GAWII RP.
- NO seemingly unrealistic gains/claims/advances. Armies are indeed very mobile in this day and age however an entire country cannot fall overnight. An all out conventional war is a dragged out, meter by meter war.
- NO Godmodding your armies. This falls under the above Godmodding rule, but it's still important. Armies in the hundreds of thousands cannot just appear out of nowhere. Think about your assets and deployments realistically.
- DO NOT make your armies "invincible". Just because you think your military is well equipped and or well trained does not mean you win every single battle. React to each battle realistically and consider the odds no matter the state of your armies. Even the more powerful force can still be defeated.
- DO NOT Godmod your Special Forces, however use of Special Forces is allowed. Keep in mind using Special Forces still runs the risk of failure. However using them successfully can gain big rewards over your opponent(s). The success or failure of a Special Operation will be determined by a Dice Roll.
- NO quick victories. Battles can take place over the span of days depending on the size of the forces and if reinforcements are available.
- Treat your armies like valuable items. Don't just throw away troops to gain a few miles of land. Think about operations carefully and decide your moves based on how costly they will be.
- NO instant deployments. It takes time and a safe route to move armies from their home bases to a battlefield. This was also rampant in the GAWII RP. Take into account distance, restricted airspaces ect.
- (more to be possibly added in discussion)

Let's turn this into a serious (yet enjoyable) Roleplay guys. This can be crafted into quite a war story if we play it right. Think RISK. Remember, no Roleplaying your posts that cause direct effects on your fellow Roleplayers. Only you can directly effect your own assets. The golden rule, "NO GODMODDING". That means you initiate an action, and your fellow users must decide the outcome of that action on their assets. However that also means every user has a responsibility to be fair about that outcome. Saying, "whatever you did had absolutely no effect on me, lawl" is completely inappropriate, and your post WILL BE modded for you.
I know a number of you have this kind of itch, so lets get it out here, and try to make something respectable in the process.
