Kurtilifa Times

7/19/13 - 2:00 PM - Grant, Shayden
The Kuyrutian Government launched a full investigation today after Kurtilifan fighter jets over Gran Shayden had forced down a large KAC TC225 to land in Kuyrutian airspace after reports of suspicious loading of goods onto the aircraft. After landing, the aircraft had been searched, revealing 5 BlueStar 109G series missiles. These missiles once made for the Acadian military during the Dead war was capable of deploying nuclear payloads onto cities 1,600 miles away from its location. These reports had been gathered by the Kuyrutian Joint trade and securities agency, that had reported suspicious actions of BlueStar executives in Peilan. Further reports revealed that the aircraft had been on route to Vanadla through Sucrestia. At the moment the Sucrestian government has denied any connection to these claims, and the Kuyrutian Government warns that this may have not been the first or last shipment of the trade between BlueStar and the government of Vanadla.

John Harding, the CEO of Itzema Relations of BlueStar has been detained in connection to the case.

A Kuyrutian company built missiles for me during the Dead War? xD Even though they're capable, we wouldn't have made them nuclear.

You could still buy missiles, but for sake of example it would make more sense if I said Acadian Razz

7/26/13 - 7:00 PM - Paris, Kurtilifa
The city of Towopoke reports mysterious flash of light seconds before a large splash in the Sitonal Lake. Reports indicate that at 9:00PM last night Paris International Airport radio towers had reported a fast moving object appearing on radar and then suddenly disappearing over the bay. The police were called on the scene a few minutes after the reported crash of some object in the water, police boats had patrolled the area looking for any wreckage but could not find any at the thick of night. Today at 5:00 Am they had sent a diving team to search for wreckage, but no reports of any aircraft had been found. The Kuyrutian Governemnt classified this as probably a chunk of the meteor that had crossed into Ekkidome today. Others still believe that the crash seems too light to be a meteor, and some reports have seen Kuyurtian Military trawlers over the bay.

7/26/13 - 7:00 PM - Jacksonville, Kuyrut
Kuyrut Government apologizes to the people of Kuyrut and Folland after three UT-130's carrying the soldiers of Folland had accidentally parachuted into Kuyrutian land. This stated by Kuyrut's president was a "failure on both sides, as well as a failure in communication between the nations of Folland and Kuyrut. Although our stance on Folland's current government remains the same, we expect more accountability in the nation of Folland as well as Kuyrut's own military forces that have although dodged the bullet of war - has proven to be lacking in monitoring abilities." This speech in the midst of Kuyrut opposition to Folland and Folland's actions have lead the country to greater animosity towards its southern neighbors along with growth in nationalism and support of the military.

Kuyrutian President in Sinope
7/05/13 - 2:00 PM - Kurtilifa, Kuyrut
The President of Kuyrut, Herald Nader had arrived in Sinope today as part of his state tour of Western Althena. Starting in Sameshira, Mr. Nader had headed west on his multipart tour that would end in Insulo. The president spent his day in the Sinope capital where he met with the Doge, Diogenes Venizelos and had lunch in the royal palace. During there discussion they talked about further economic and political cooperation and issues on Folland and SCMAT treaties. After lunch the president toured the countryside where he met with local farmers before returning back to the capital to rest up for the next country.

SCMAT Emergency meeting draws speculation
7/05/13 - 2:00 PM - Kurtilifa, Kuyrut
SCMAT leaders today of Kuyrut, Okaiken and Kwangju met up today in an emergency meeting to discuss economic and political policy within the region. This along with the Kuyrutian rejection of joining the Euphemian 13 conference has caused speculation within the public, believing that it may be the start of growing isolationism from Euphemian powers and a move towards faster growing Eastern Althenian states.
