Proposal | Adding Flags to World Map

This is a simple proposal that might help add more understanding to the world map. We just add every member nation's flag to their country on the world map. So people can find and associate countries better by not just the name but it's flag as well. We just take the flag, scale it down and plop it above or below the nation's name depending on the size and shape of the country. Or just place it as appropriately as possible if the country is small.

*shrug* I like the idea, but I personally think we should keep this map and the flagless map separate, as both versions have their merits.

I could easily accomplish this. I wouldn't mind it on the map.

So then it would be generally more favorable to have this as a separate world map.

I'd prefer 2 separate maps, also what we gonna do for the counties that have no flags, and also are we including NPC or just the flags for USNW countries?

For NPCs, we make new flags.

We already have a few in the Flag Registry or on the wiki, if I'm not mistaken (if the Registry and wiki have conflicting flags, wiki takes precedence).

I know we have NPC flags, but for the flags that don't and we don't finish them in time for the first version of the map, we leave the space blank?

I know we do Carl, but I mean, when the map is made, not all countries will have a map, and it will take a while before all countries have maps, so I'm wondering, the first map, I'm saying what do the countries that don't have flags WHEN IT IS RELEASED look like, just white??

Well, yeah I think we can do the countries with no flags just white

And yeah, what about disputed areas (notably Forgia and Zebtesia, which connect western Althena with the rest of the continent)?

we have Forgia and Zebtesia, the part of Kuyrut and Brennsland, Hanchoin Isle and Helespetroika, Ameka Islands. Quite a few disputed lands.

I don't think we need to worry about the Ameka islands they are small and I'm not sure they're even on the official map....

Well the Islands are on the map, but they are dots

Yes though I would like to see anyone try and put a flag on the dots
