On-leave: for a while

Some of you may have noticed that I haven't been online in several days. I will not have access to the computer that has Simcity 4, Photoshop, Illustrator, the map, or any of my other important files relating to USNW. I expect to return in 1-2 months. (Hopefully) I'll probably be on Skype tonight and maybe tomorrow.

I'm very sorry about this, but I hope to return soon. Please put me "On Leave".

Yes months. I should be able to still access the site a few days a week, but I have none of my very important files.

You're already in the On-Leave group, Jack; what I can't figure out is how to make the grey color for that group override the blue color for the Full Members group.

Hey guys. I'm having a whole lot of computer trouble right now. I was making election coverage (now you must remain in suspense) when my computer froze up. When I rebooted it again, I was not able to click anything and I'm still not able to now. I had to navigate from my PC login screen to here using only the "tab" key and arrows. It has also been having other strange behavior with random freezes and errors popping up on my screen upon log in. System restore is also not allowing me to restore my HDD to an earlier date. I found the Geek Squad Acer Recovery Discs, but my laptop is a Sony VAIO.

So, it may be a while before I'm able to return.

Edit: It seems my touchpad is broken. But I'm still going to have to do something about that freezing.

So nevermind!

I'd back up all my SC4-files on an external HD just in case something happens.

I may do that. I'll probably order some high capacity blank DVD's and back it up on a few of those.

I may have to be put on leave, but I'm not sure yet. I'll be in Mexico for a little over a week. From the looks of the place, there is probably wifi. Either way, I'll be busy for a while but come back with a nice tan.
