SimCity 2013 ingame Pictures Released

So, in-game pictures have been released for SimCity. But if these graphics are final, would you like it or not?

It looks a lot like Societies. It'll take some getting used to. I'm still going to buy this.

I'm not buying until it's been out atleast a month or so for the reviews and stuff to come in from everyone.

I sure hope they change it, it's way too colorful.

Terribly sad to say, Simcity 4 looks a ton better than that. :\ Way to go EA for screwing up another great game. Too cartoony, too crappy.

I'd get it if I had the chance; it took years for me to get a copy of SC4 though (before that, it was SC2K), so it'd be a while before that chance arrives - especially since I'd also need a new computer first. The one I'm currently using is often not working well.

I think it looks cheesy, to bright, to colourful but it's a replacement, I'm sure the peeps will make good BATs for it that are not to bright. It'll be good to see actual streets and such.

Also note that these may not be the final graphics of the game. But expect them to be something like this.

If they don't improve, I have no plans on buying it.

I think there too cartoony. But they will improve. Plenty of months of work yet to be put into this.

Honestly though the 2nd picture is kind of cool.



I dont mind that one at all.

Also, there is the fact - as Ying pointed out - that the new SimCity will have custom content like SC4 does, so it has quite a bit of potential in my opinion.

Remember, SimCity 4 didn't look all that great before custom content came along, either.

It wasn't as terrifying as the pictures there

Actually SC4 looked ugly as hell when it was released

I doubt their will be Custom Content. And if their is, I feel EA will use it as DLC because they want extra money. EA loves backstabbing it's fans.

Maxis confirmed that there will be the possibility for fan-made custom content last I heard.

But EA loves back stabbing. They will do it whenever needed as long as it gives them money.
