USNW Wiki Discussion

We were all blocked from that wiki. Basically Chip said he was taking his site (this site), Matt got mad and said he was taking his wiki (old wiki). To some of us took the initiative to move to a new wiki this morning. We've got a new wiki up, though under new management, which is still being finished up but can be found at usnwwiki.wikinet.org

Better register and copy over my nation page. Oh nevermind, it's already there.

nah, taken care of We had a team of about 3 people copy over a good 100+ articles and many more templates today.

I'm no expert on the wiki, but can K50 just unban us and ban Matt, Tyler, and Nate?

Nope he got removed too.

:O I didn't know that an oversight could be banned/removed.

Edit: I can edit the wiki again. I made myself a new account. (Jack3oh32) Simple as that. Also, Daniel or Jon, please ban Matt from the forums so he doesn't see this and stop everyone from being able to register again.

The two of them blocked everyone else, and I'm sure they'll notice you and block your new account Jack. lol

I backed up my template and the page describing all of this. Maybe I can revert some of their changes before they notice me.
There's nothing I can do.

Also, on the new wiki, are all of the pictures going to be transferred, as well?

Carl, I need you to fix up the Featured Article, I got the image working but the category list isn't with all the ones with the image of it like in the old wiki.

I'm doing that last. Right now, our main priority is to work out the Navbar and the borders in the infoboxes and the picture saving.

ah yokays you do that Carl, on another note, the little box thingies that link down to bottom to an external site for resources, I don't think that will help much because there's no way to single out posts on this forum, I feel if we make it possible to single out post URLs that we could make more of them external resource thingymajigs.

I haven't been here in a few days so I'm not entirely sure what's going on with the wiki. But it is not letting me register.

I am a little offended as it called me a "spoofuser".

I don't know, we haven't had any real issues upto now, but it wont accept it I'm not too savvy on the whole sql and ctp stuff, Carl's a bit more knowledgable but this whole thing is a bit of a learning process.

nah, I tried it, I posted on the wikkii forums to see about a solution. Also tried it without any numbers.
