This bill is only for Chancellor and the ministries. You can't run for First Minister and Executive Secretary until late July/August.

I honestly have no idea what to do. I want these elections to go on, but I don't know how to set everything up, since I'm new and all.

Well, perhaps just make a topic for every ministry position being voted for? Or somehow fit all the elections into one topic, which would require more organization. And then just place a poll in the topic for each position.

Each ministry has it's own place in the forum, so we could just go in each ministry thread, create a topic titled "June 2012 Election" (since it'll be june within a day or so). Place a poll with the people running, and let it go. Course everyone would have to go into every ministry and vote, but it's simple.

Here's what I would do just to make sure this happens as soon as possible...

Have a thread (or use this one) to have people declare what they are running for.

Then using Google docs/a separate thread with a poll, do votes for ONLY the offices with more than one person running.

Of course, you're in charge, so it's your decision. I'm just thinking out loud.

no, not yet, declarations for positions currently.

I'll go for yet another term as Minister of Defense.

I can help run the elections, we usually use forum polls and separate threads but I think a single ballot as a form is a good idea.

Nah it's for these ones and the next set (considering using that forum for campaigns, but I still need to check with Daniel on that.

What day will the votes take place on? Next week or what?

Probably in 2 weeks, still need to confirm that with Daniel, I need to stop being such a dictator lol.
