What's with the linky K50

I think it's very nice Kurt, looks fantastic.

Well, I just think you need to make it a little less dense. I mean, I couldn't even see one street. I don't know how far away your other city was though, if it's 30-odd miles away, it would probably work. If it's 10, it wouldn't.

Thanks for clarifying though, I get the entire little city in a big city thing, that's what is inspiring New Chandler City and a few other of my big metro areas.

They are supposed to be further than 30 miles. I'm not sure how far exactly, but I know they are far enough.
Think of it this way. They may look close, but Shayden is a really big country, so the two cities are further away than they look. (more than 30 miles probably)

I'm back with a CJ update! Though it'll be short lived as I have a very busy day today (I really wish I could work on SimCity 4 all day) And tomorrow will be busy as well, and the next tons of days. Also, I remade Harrison City again because I made errors in the city that I needed to correct (the roads). Here are some pictures of my progress.

Today is the first day of snowfall in Harrison City. Sure it isn't sticking to the ground, but it's still falling. A cold front is passing over Harrison City and what was supposed to be rain has turned into snow.

If you notice, the left corner seems empty, but that's because I haven't made any progress over there yet.



Even in the snow's fury a lens will be flared.


I also have got stadium for the cities AIFF team, and its SNFL teams. The AFL stadium will be made later.

The Harrison City FC Turf. This team plays in the AIFF and does a good job of it.


Turf of the Harrison City Coyotes. This team runs in the SNFL, I don't know how they are doing, I'm planning on simming it for the heck of it. (Because I'm a statistics geek )

Next update I won't be so personal like I was this time, but I wanted to clarify some things. Alright, that's it for now. You can go away again.

The colours of the buildings in the first picture are great.. very picturesque.

Great variety of buildings used is great too.. how many are actually grow/plopped?

Fox: All of them. I have to grow them in order to make the city realistic. But at least they are all functional.

Oh cool.. never seen some of them grow before. You must have an impressive residential population to support all of that commercial growth. What is the current population of this tile?

So far it's only 350,000 or so, with 75,000 jobs. It seems to be fine for now.

Did you make that last picture with the football field in the soccer stadium? It looks awesome

Made some pictures last night, not enough for a full update, but more of a mini update.





On this note, I'd like to announce that Shayden will be back into full production in a month or so. School will be ending on June 7th and that will give me more time during summer vacation to make CJ updates. You may even see a large update next weekend.
