MACTA and the City of Belleville are thrilled to announce that the Lake Victoria Transit Complex will open on Freedom Day in 2013 (May 16,2013). This massive complex on the shores of Lake Victoria just East of Belleville will include an International Airport, River Ferry Terminal, Central Rail Station, Light Rail Station, and Bus Depot. This complex is scheduled to be available for use for the Simlympics if Belleville's bid is successful, and will be a major part of the bid. The complex is also part of Belleville's green initiatives and will be one of the greenest transportation complexes in the world.
