calling it a day

To my friends in the USNW,

It has been a pleasure working and socializing with you all over the previous year. The great community we have all created is steadily growing stronger every day, however my personal life has become rather complicated and my time in the USNW, as you may have noticed over the previous week, has declined, most significantly including my dropping-out of the race for Chancellor. With finals approaching next week, I think this is a "good time" to announce my resignation from the USNW.

During the next few days, I am going to be doing some final movements, including wrapping up the X-Games wiki page, dealing with elections, preparing the USNW headquarters to be moved, and so on. I'll probably pop up once on Skype a final time, but I'm not sure when, so finding me on there from here on out is going to be pure and total luck. You will still be able to find me city journaling on Simtropolis, Simmania, and Simsports as I am not planning on dropping playing SimCity.

Thank you very much to everybody in the union realm of SimCity that has befriended me over the past year and a half; to those who have tried to put me through hell during that time, I assure you, my life and aspirations in the future are certainly brighter and less deplorable than yours.

Nooooo!!! K50, please stay. Since you won't have any responsibilities now, all you have to do is post your CJ and in a few more forums, common stay.

Isn't there anything we can do to make you want to stay? Especially since you say you'll continue your CJ; why not continue it here as well?

Well I'm leaving for good this time. And because of the downhill two years of high school coming up that's the last time I'll be saying it. Thanks to all of you again Union life for me has become more of a liability and more depressing as of recently and the entire Nate and Matt sabotage with the wiki and Chip shutting down the forums, and all of the rest of that entire saga has punched my ticket out. I don't want to start anything because I have a lot of negative opinions to certain members of this union right now and I don't want to slow down the recovery process by letting it all out, but before I leave I really do want to say a few positives.

Best of luck to the coming Chancellor and ExSec. Kenny (my cabbage bro ) sorry you won't have my vote, good luck to you. Whoever it'll be I'm sure your terms will be easier than most have been previously, hence you'll do some great things. Daniel, as far as you go, I hope you keep kicking ass as a leader like you have been. You're the Peter Reyes of this generation of unions, you've done a whole lot in some difficult times and I think we'd all agree you're truly the best of us as a leader and planner. And also to Jon, it's been a pleasure being in unions with you over the ages and your work deserves a lot more recognition then you are getting.

You guys can still see me most actively on simmania if you want to say hello. You guys should all come over there, it's a lot of fun (there's a major facelift and party coming up soon), I'll be lurking at Simsports and Simtropolis too. New Chandler will still be around through this summer for sure and hopefully I can get some updates during the school year too.

Sorry to see you go K50, but thanks for all that you have done for the union ever since you helped to found it. You've been a great help to me from day one of my joining, and I'm pretty sure it's a safe bet to say that a lot of us wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you.

It's too bad you're leaving. New Chandler was the first USNW CJ I ever read. I hope you'll still visit us sometimes.
