Virgin Atlantic is an airline that operates out of Heathrow Intl, in Heathrow Atlantic Polandria. The Airline was started up by Virgin Group as a competitor to AirPol and AIR's airline services out of Polandria. The company has finally gone public and because of that today the airline will be publicly posted and stakes in the company will be available for purchase. Virgin Atlantic got its name from the province in Polandria that it serves its routes from. Its hub is located at Heathrow International Airport in Atlantic Polandria. Because the airline only has one hub and that hub is is Atlantic, the airline decided to name it self after that province and carry that provinces flag. Virgin Atlantic exclusively operates long haul service on B747-400, A340-300, A340-600 and A330-300 type aircraft. AirPol's and AIR's market share on domestic and short was to high for Virgin Atlantic to fund entry into. Since its conception the airline has grown stead fast in the face of AIR. Today the Airline has a fleet of 99 aircraft. Virgin Group owns 51 percent stake and is offering up 49 percent for sale.
