If others vote I think I'll be alright. I don't know if ya'll will just call an application or not but I hope so. And I do have a majority yes and have all along. If not, i'll come back and try again.

I believe this application can pass with one more vote, because if the Yes votes reach 8 then the No votes can only reach 6, because of the two abstain votes. Someone tell me if my math is wrong, not exactly my strong suit.

The Charter says votes are a majority of the entire union, however, the Charter also doesn't discern how Membership votes should take place, maybe an amendment would be nice for that.

Doesn't that not work in that in some cases observers cannot vote

The only union vote observers can take part in is approving other observers.
