The First Ever USNW USong Compition!
We tried this a few weeks ago, it kind of died out, but I am going to get it going again and maybe we can have some real fun with it! First, I would like to encourage everyone to take part, this will be a fun event for everyone and a great way for our members to get to know each other. Secondly, I would like to encourage everyone to bid to host this event! It will not be a vigorous hosting process, you will have to to give me five pictures to use for each round and a picture to use for the closing ceremony, see? Very easy. Last, I want to apologize for the wait!

- August 8th (11:59 PM GMT -6): Bids Due
- August 10th: Host Selection, Songs Finalized
- August 11th - 12th: Round One
- August 13th - 14th: Round Two
- August 15th - 16th: Break
- August 17th - 18th: Round Three
- August 19th - 20th: Round Four
- August 21st - 22nd: Semi-Final Round
- August 24th - 25th: Final Round
How it will work
After all songs have been finalized, on the eleventh, we will begin round one. In round one, we will narrow down the list of candidates for the winning country to ten. To vote, each nation will submit their top ten list, except backwards, 1 being the your least favorite, 10 being your favorite. You are allocating that amount of points to each nation when you submit, you may not vote for your self. All votes will be submited to both Jon and I so there is no chance of me rigging the competition (even though I'm not competing). During the second round it will be narrowed to eight, the third round six, the fourth round 4, the semifinals 2, and then the finals we'll pick the winner. See, simple? Huh?
