I was thinking to have an international Triple Crown-style competition with this as one of the races, what does everyone think?

I'll see about the logo but how are you going to sim it?

I'm currently looking for a simulator, but if I don't find one, I'll probably have to use a random number generator.

random.org, you do some really complex systems... heck, swscra was done with a page long system for everything using various random things on random.org.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the first annual Francistown Derby! Our contestants are:

Desert Wind, with Edward Gairdner of Aquilonia for his jockey;
Red Royal, with Andrew Thelliers of Grand and Belluterra for his jockey;
Corazon, with Alejandro Zapata of Ruteria for his jockey;
and Coastal Violet, with Will Roberts of Aquilonia for his jockey.

The race has begun, and Desert Wind has powered himself into the lead, with Red Royal not far behind, while Corazon and Coastal Violet are battling it out for third place. Now Coastal Violet has taken the lead over Corazon, while Desert Wind seems to be slowing down.... it looks like Red Royal could be the champion... but wait! It looks like Corazon has had a sudden burst of energy, because he's suddenly pulled quite far ahead of Coastal Violet. Corazon is rapidly gaining on Red Royal, who seems to be tiring. Looks like it will be a fight to the finish between those two... With the finish line in sight, Corazon is several meters ahead of Red Royal... Oh my gosh! Coastal Violet is already ahead of both Red Royal and Desert Wind! Could we see an Aquilonian as the winner of the derby?



Coastal Violet is almost alongside Corazon now... but, unfortunately, too late for him, Corazon has just crossed the finish line! Congratulations to Corazon, and also to his excellent jockey, Alejando Zapata. We also congratulate Coastal Violet and Red Royal for coming in a close second and third place, respectively.
