September Roll Call and Plan of Action

I think most of you have noticed that it's been pretty dead around here lately, but I know that some of you would like to continue to be a part of USNW and to see it come back to life again. Some of you have tried to get things started to bring some activity to the union but I think we need to address some pressing issues first so that the union is in a state that can help to foster increased activity. I want USNW to continue to exist and flourish, so I think there are several steps we need to take in order to make sure that it can. The first major issue, to me, is that we don't really have a proper idea of who wants to continue to try and make this union work, who wants to leave, or if people are just not here anymore.

So the first thing we need to do, I think, is to do a sort of quick role call or census to get a general idea of who still wants to be a member of USNW. To that end, I'd really like everyone who sees this to respond to this post with their feelings on USNW and if they still want to be a member.  Also, if you have any ideas about restoring the union, please share them. Please follow the format listed at the bottom of this post.

After that, there a few more things that urgently need our attention. Again, if you have any suggestions of thoughts concerning these matters please share them here.

• Election of a new IC government. (ASAP)
  
• Review of and decision on the validity of "Union Failure" roleplay.
  
• Creation of events to increase activity. The first event will be the Expo that has been proposed.
  
• Reestablishment of important Administrative Committees.
  
• Reset or removal of activity index.
  

After these issues have been addressed I think we will have a much better shot at getting this union back on its feet.

I am willing to remain in this union and help relive this forum on one condition and that is I am asking for others commitment as well. As I enter the last month of this year's college semester, I might quite inactive but rest assured after my final exams, I shall get back on this.
