Census

I think we need to do a census of Adonia. It may be something I put together over the Christmas break but if someone else wants to take a jab at it, by all means. lol. What do you think?

What statistics would be be gathering?

getting everyone's national populations is the easy part. creating populations for every single NPC nation, and filling in any gaps of unregistered Humans is the tricky part.

I was thinking, just the basic: Total population, Male population, female population and like an estimated population.

Forth, we could use that and update it. New Terrance isn't on the list.
With any census, there is going to be gaps and people unaccounted for.
I am more worried about the player nations first. We can then go from there.
I too think some nations have a pretty hefty population, granted some nations should be heavily population. Maybe after looking at the data we can come up with certain guideline for population sizes, ex. Major underdeveloped nations should have relatively high population (or birth rate) while more modern nations should have a relatively decent size population depending on the size of the country (and a birth rate that is stabling out). But these are things we can discuss after the census if we deem necessary.

What about life expectancy, birth date, death rate, net migration, composition of the population?

I know we have the means to pull this off.  We can surely do this. It will just take time, research, and a lot of text.

Yeah the Ministry for Statistics should be in charge of this. However, I don't think we have a Minister. I volunteer to take up this project. If anyone wants to help, let me know. Or if you got any ideas, hit me up.

Hello.

Quite recently, I have been hit with one of the lowest points of life. I have trouble focusing on stuff, and I'm being reprimanded because of it. I've been doing less and less stuff each day, and sometimes forgetting what needs to be accomplished.

I just want to let you know that I'm taking an on-leave until things get better. If I could not return anymore, that means it might be the end for me, but no matter what happens, please keep on living.

Carl, good luck buddy. If it helps, I always try to schedule my stuff out. At least write everything you have to do down and in some kind of order. That always helps me.
