South Cilician Mutual Assurance Treatywas an alliance started by Kuyrut for reasons to allow for the mutual protection of Adonian nations in front of enemy aggression from nearby countries. The treaty's contents bring for the mutual assurance of developmental assistance to minor countries, economic support for its members and military support during times of instability.

South Cilician Mutual Assurance Treaty was created under the growing threat of new military and economic imperialistic powers forming alliances to destabilize and control smaller less powerful nations as to gain larger influence in areas around Adonia.

Applicants go through a process of approval which restricts nations that have on-going social issues or imperialistic ideals.

The Follandan High Council views this as nothing more than a direct response to the Euphemian Bloc Nations, as Kuyrut is a neighboring nation on Euphemia, and one of the very few left not in the Bloc, Folland feels this treaty is nothing more than an attempt to gain security against the Bloc Nations.

I definitely agree with Mike here. Razz But Acadia is going to try to keep as quiet as possible.

Acadia would like to remind Kuyrut that the Acadian Federation is open to relations and requests a diplomatic meeting.

The Kuyrutian government has no major part in the formation of the treaty in association to its neighbors. This treaty is to any general cause. Although the treaty states that it is focused on the South Cilician, members can be from other parts of Adonia through special membership.

Shayden will not be participating in this treaty, due to its redundancy to the currently existing Euphemian Bloc. It also takes note of this for future relations.

Calibria believes it is unfortunate that Acadia will be downgrading the status of our relations simply due to this; however, we believe the best way to protect our sovereignty at the current time is to be a non-region member of the sCMAT.

Kuyrut would suggest the bloc to avoid bullying nations into not joining in groups that may seem against the views of the bloc. Kuyrut would be pleased to meet with the bloc in USNW HQ.

Acadia will not be downgrading relations with Calibria.  The Federation is only concerned about getting tied up with alliance that conflict with Acadian interests.


I'll wait for Mike to talk about a meeting.

The creation of the SCMAT seems to be a provocation and response to the recent creation of the Euphemian Bloc from the Sinope Republic perspective. The reaction of the Acadian Federation seems therefore legitimate in this matter.

Aww c'mon, let's go Acadia, downgrade relations with Calibria!

The Follandan Government is currently considering the South Cilician Mutual Assurance Treaty as a possible venue for future beneficial cooperation. Current and recent events have made the South Cilician a priority interest for us, and we as a nation feel further cooperation with Kuyrut is preferable.
