HISTORY

The Tampuchean Lands where inhabited by a local population called Tampaxi(or,in insulonian, Tampuchìos),that in ancient ages governed also Itihat islands. This peaceful population didn't use to have a real army,there were only some guards at the gates of the cities. Infact,when the Althenian conquerors arrived there,the islands where easily conquered.
With the old Tampaxi state split in Trentannian,Insulonian and Utrovan colonies,the native population immediately changed their ways of life,they also changed the language,so the new Tampaxi society was culturally divided,but the Tampaxi did not forget their origins and their ideals,so,in 1820,after 200 years of occupation,the natives declared war to the conquerors.
This war,was a bloody war,made up of massacres,burned villages and towns,battles. But,finally,the Tampaxi gained the independence. With this new indipendent state,the Tampaxi could make a new strong nation,but there were cultural,and,worse,language differences,so they decided to make a new mixed language,the modern Tampuchean.
This new state was a little,but strong, kingdom ruled by a brillant dinasty of warrior-kings (the Culchans) that made excellent military campaigns in the nowadays' Free Democratic Colony of Xteplin,at that time called "Xteplinai". Under the Culchans,the capital,Tampuchinxa,grew up a lot and became,by a small village,an important economic and politic city. The city was(and is) an important harbour in the gulf of Xteplaa.
The kingdom had excellent relationships with Utrova and Insulo,but with the coming of Communism in the archipelago this relationships ended.
This new ideology,arrived in Tampuchea in 1940's,when the nation had a long period of crisis and famine due to the crazy expenses of the King,that used to buy golden objects for his giant palace in the middle of Tampuchinxa island.
This crisis peaked when a group of guerrillas from the poor parts of Tampuchinxa city and from the other territories,controlled by the marshal Carlos Palcha,attacked the island of Tampuchinxa and expelled the King and his équipe.
So,in 1950's the Tampuchea became a Federal Democratic republic,a new Socialist state with a strong army and a florid economy (turism,weapons,rum,jewels...). Also the city of Tampuchinxa has been renamed Marx City/Cixte Marx
Since 1960's the island had been literally invaded by turists,because of its infinite attractions and beauties. Unfortunately the road system and also the urban one,aren't well developed,because of the territory,hilly with few plains...
Since 1990 the new head of state is the young and beloved Jelavit Palcha.

I think your location needs to be slightly adjusted, as it overlaps some Acadian dependencies. But I like it so far!

In the map (v22)on the islands that I choose there wasn't written that were Acadian dependencies,I'm sorry.
Tell me wich islands are Acadian so I'll adjust the location..

the furthest islands (or all) would have to be Dependencies or it might not be as believable because of the distance, I suggest taking a small bit of Nastara and the 2 islands to the left and the islands below, topping with the islands you already have to the west as dependencies?

Love it, though I think you do require a coat of arms other than that I would vote yes!

Umm... Jack, that dependancy you have above Noviy Ostroviy is Utrovan, and in case you haven't been yet updated, Utrova and its dependancies are permanent NPCs, which means that you should've asked me whether or not you can take an Utrovan dependancy.

I did my best to avoid most of those islands, Stan. I might have taken 2 or 3 smaller ones, but nothing major. Anyway, this isn't really the place for discussing that.

Welcome to the forum! It's interesting to see you using the game Tropico for this. First time I've seen someone do that. Your images are good and you've definitely made some history. Continue looking for an appropriate location for your nation.

The new location is interesting. Quite a distance between the mainland territory and the islands but that doesn't matter. I like it, plus it's really interesting seeing this application backed by Tropico and not Simcity or CitiesXL. I like this.

Like it, I once considered doing a CJ with Tropico. I think this has everything it needs, so I'm going to go ahead and put it to vote.
