Paradisian officials have heard no contact with Grand, and have fired 12 ICBMs at Hillton, one of which is nuclear in nature, where the Beluterrian 'crazies (unofficial term)' are reporting to be hiding. 6 missed but 6 are confirmed to have hit.
Meanwhile, the team of Paradisian bombers have been authorized to bomb...somewhere in Acadia.

Shelling continues as Folland forces slowly push into the city, block by block. Anti-Air batteries set up by the forces in the foothills there target and shoot down Acadian bombers heading for the city. Some get through, most are destroyed.

The retreating divisions out East, equipped with surface to air weapons shoot down what planes they can as they move but lose men and assets. They're still pushing toward the mountains.

Jets from the cilician Carriers engage in attack runs on the Marqualis fleet.

The Insulonian marines have rendezvoused with Follandian forces and joined in the assault on Hinali. The Southern Fleet has continued to engage the Marquali nave and is attempting to split them around the Okanamapi island. Another bomber group from Casamos has arrived and again begun bombing enemy positions around and in Hinali.

After Hillton, Belluterra was devastated by a series of nuclear explosions equivalent to 31.8 megatons of TNT:

It better not be Troy that you are bombing, Kenny. It is pretty well fortified and has lots and lots of weapons to shoot down the planes. Razz

Acadia sends reinforcements to Hinali (which is probably mostly in ruins by now) from southern Folland.

Acadia has sent 10 B-2 stealth bombers over Hinali, and 3 to Paradise, awaiting orders to attack.

The fleet in the Cilician will send in forces to assit in Folland. The forcees in Kuyrut will cross back to fight also. The Response team in Belluterra is moving back out to the fleet.

Insulo has declared martial law. Evacuations of major cities are being conducted, and the president, cabinet, and parliament have been evacuated to a secret location but civilian evacuations are progressing very slowly.

The same is happening in Brullen. Also there have been reports of Radiation from the intercepted nukes.

Paradisian Bombers drop tactical EMP bombs over occupying enemy forces. Electronics in their logistical and Vehicle assets are neutralized. The combined Insulo and Folland forces thrust into the city proper, intent on reaching the Chancellor's Palace.

Eastern Folland forces near the mountains. A southern group has broken off to intercept the advancing Acadians to halt their progress toward the Capital. Nothing will stop us from retaking our city.

A small group of the Cruisers in the Cilician fleet retarget their Cruise Missiles east and launch them toward the advancing Acadian forces. The Marqualis fleet is now a crippled husk of what it once was.

How are you going to capture a city with planes? Razz

Anyway, the evacuation was of the government and civilians. The military stayed, we just didn't tell them that the reason for the evacuation was that we thought a nuclear bomb was coming. Razz

(Just kidding, our troops are fearless.)
