History: The Land was captured by Posillipo in 1855 and was used for trade until Shayden demanded independence in 1892. After Posillipo refused their independence Shayden rebelled and started the Great Revolution, in which Shayden soldiers began to push back Posillipian soldiers out. After seeing Shayden's determination, Posillipo decided to talk. About various talks, it was decided that Shayden would become a Commonwealth, a win for both sides because of Shaydens gain of independence, but Posillipo still had control.

I'm going to have to vote no. Everything is great, but I can't vote yes to an observer nation of this size. Shayden is huge, it is half a continent. Areas this large should not be taken by people are not willing to fully commit to the union, so that these parcels of land are open to new members who are willing to make USNW their primary union.

why not have observers as the white country and if any space is wanted, negotiate with that observer? Just state it's observer by putting it brackets under the country?

The way I see it, all Shayden becoming an observer means is that we'd be able to see CJ pics of it from time to time - as it is already a "Protected NPC".

Kurt, if you can't commit to full member, why not go ambassadorial?

Because I joined AIN, and they don't allow me. It's not that I can't fully commit, it's that to leave AIN for USNW would be a rude move on my part, and would also sour tensions between USNW and AIN.

Eh, they've probably gotten less sour after what has happened lately, but me leaving would cancel that. Plus I was active with Shayden and Matinenda in USNW, why couldn't I be active in USNW with Shayden and Matinenda in AIN?
