Why am I the only one campaigning?

Because I don't have a reason to campaign. I'm not going to try for the high-ups. I'm just dandy as Science and Space Minister.

So no one is going to give me any competition for executive secretary? And no one will run for chancellor? D:

I'm not sure I've even been here long enough to run for Chancellor. Besides I was the one that wanted to abolish it, remember?

I /would/ run for a position but then that /would/ screw so many things over yonder that I /would/ have to resign and I /would/ be royally screwed.

I know one person running for Chancellor. Honestly I think it would be easier with only the two of ya'll running, just like it was before this whole mess.

Although, does this mean if I win, I'll have to give up my Ministry position?

Mike: I don't think you will have to. And I don't know anyone else who would run for your ministry.

No Mike you will not have to give it up, you can hold only one Executive Position (Chancellor, First Minister or Executive Secretary), but that has no impact on the Ministries.

What the others said: You can only have one Executive position at any one time, but you can have as many ministrial positions as you were elected for without affecting your Executive office.
