Regarding partaking in other unions.
Why not?

This to me makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. It restricts a persons creativity and stomps all over any new union looking to start up. (As with the larger unions soaking up all the more experienced SC4'ers and roleplayers it would lead to problems for the fledgeling union)
To put it in other terms, it is like if say....I owned a deli and you worked for my deli. But I only let you work Mondays. You then find another deli that lets you work Saturdays and Thursdays and you want to apply there. But keep your old job too, because you do love your job and all the people there. But some rule states that you can't work for more than one place at once and you are forced to quit your old job and cut all those lovely people off in favour of more hours.
Now that's just silly, don't you think? Participating in more than one union has many more upsides than downsides.

And, if you prefer, think of it like this. If someone was to want to go to another union, they wouldn't have to leave this one. It's just so perfect.

So, here is what I propose:

Members of USNW are allowed to be active on other unions on the grounds they retains some level of activity. Be it a post a day be it a post a week.
Members of other unions that apply here can be granted ambassadorial membership if they are seen fit to be able to keep a regular posting routine and not let their other commitments die off either. For this is bad for inter-union relations.

The Imperial Federal Kingdom of Grand, Belluterra, and Malo supports this, but would like to point out that unless at least one other union has a similar law, this thing would be redundant even if it is passed.

I whole heartedly agree with this proposal and think it is about time the current Unions look at the dwindling SC4 members and try to allow creative members of the community to flourish and be in as many unions/communities/groups as they like as long they still participate and are active in the ones they join.

Bravo Bigro for being bold enough to bring this forward.

Yea this would be fine, but really the only other union is AIN and they don't allow other members from unions so it wouldn't really do much good. If you could get someone at AIN to propose something like this however, you might be able to do it.

I can probably ask someone to, and just hope they do it. This would really help relations with AIN.

Well, it's an extremely good idea. If we can cooperate with other people, many great things will happen. It's up to our will and their will to support this.

It is time for us to change, or we are doomed to repeat history.

@bigro - you own a deli? Razz I should visit your store sometime... Razz

I agree with this measure. Unions relations are vital to anyones union success. I'll vote yes on this. Just need to get someone from AIN to propose it

not to mention future unions, incase it hasn't been brutally obvious, there hasn't been many new ones for quite some time. It IS a worrying trend. Not to mention bad business Razz (I relate everything to business...)

Great to see the support for this.

Also there are other Unions and groups out there besides AIN. Although not as active they are out there.

I will support, only problem is there are only two other active unions at this time, AIN and the french one.
