With nobody believing him, can George convince the police in time to stop another victim from appearing? (Past serial murders in this book based off true events, the copy-cat is fictional and not based on truth)

The story specially talks about a group of guys,3 girls and 2 boys,from a small town in southern Sojuzovsk's Lands(now Prisharovia),where the local populations were always seen by the Sojuzovans as 'stupids' or 'farmers'. So this story talks about the life of these 5 guys,with their problems,the problems of the adolescence,the socialist adolescence.But their future will be changed with the civil war in their lands. One of the three boys,Mishka,will die,killed by the People's Army. The future of the other 4 guys will be changed... There's a small introduction about the 40's-mid.50's period.
