Yeah, I think if you are looking for the area equivalent to northern areas of earth, these are located on the south hemisphere, the area what you have chosen is equivalent to Australian Outback or something like that, I think.

Yeah, that's more like Falklands/Southern Argentina/Southern Chile than Australian Outback
