The Centurian Council today has put the Trans-Althenan Pipeline Proposal through Polandria on hold with a 345 no to 134 yes vote, to allowing the pipe line entry through the nation. The Council will have a vote after the election to decide whether to permit the pipeline and where it will pass through the nation. Centurian Speaker Albert Alscztocz today told the council that no decision will be made until after the June 5th elections. He also stressed the importance of ensuring the current pipeline and agreements between the DEFENTAS pact holders, Drenthian Federation, Shintan, Cisneria, Krka, Muntinavia, Zyencha, Takesian, and Astinia.

Foreign Minister Melono Campalligini today met with representatives from Rallistan to broker a deal with the nation of 3 million for a land pact rental in the south-eastern section. Talks thus far have gone well. This track of land will come on a 99 year deal to allow for the development of Izengard.

The Polandrian Imperium will be urging all citizens of Polandria in Gahirastan to leave as soon as possible. This follows the evidence of human rights abuses to the lead up of the Presidential election. We have formally expelled all diplomats from the current government and will be watching the elections closely. We will report any anomalies to the USNW. We will not deal in any way with Gahirastan untill after a free and fair election.

Question: Will your government send any help in the face of a civil uprising or a military coupe?

Answer: No, we have no interest dealing with the problems of Gahirastan with our own people and lives.

Question: Will Polandria take any force against Gahirastan?

Answer: No, we will address any issues to the USNW and have them make a decision and deal with the problem as a whole. We have no need to deal with this in any other form. No more questions.

Thank you.

Today Chancellor Sztol on his speech to congress has promised to bring the proposed Trans-Althenan pipeline before the Centurian and have it vetoed. He said that Polandria and only Polandria would choose what would and would not go through its own land. This topic has been quiet a sticking point within the Centurian as well as the members of DEFENTAS.

The Imperial Federal Kingdom of Grand, Belluterra, and Malo is disappointed at this turn of affairs, which is sure to cause a climb in worldwide oil and gas prices.

The Polandrian Imperium disagrees with the above statement and highlights the pipeline going through Polandria, Rallistan and Takesia will not effect the supply to members who choose to partake in the plan. We find the above argument very inappropriate and without basis. From the proposal put forward Anoka would still receive gas from the Insulo pipeline. Anoka would have been the only nation really effected by this if it were not for the pipeline on the other side. Every other nation will be unaffected if Polandria, Rallistan and Takesia veto the extension through our DEFENTAS lands as we were not consulted on the plan.

We hope to see The Imperial Federal Kingdom of Grand, Belluterra, and Malo monitor their comments more carefully when making such public claims and ensure they have all the information relevant to such situations.

Thank you

The Polandrian Imperium today has signed a 99 year lease of Rllistan land to help aid in developing Izengard. The deal was finalized today which saw Polandria lower its gas price for the 3 million strong nation from 135 to 63. Polandria has also agreed to spend 22 billion in infrastructure spending to help bring all of Rallistan in line for the DEFENTAS road and rail 2013 plan. The Road Rail 2013 plan is said to cost Rallistan 33 billion.

Chancellor Sztol today has left to go visit Malograd, on the eve of a deceleration of failure to pay 15 billion for the proposed bridge between the two nations. This comes after the Tsar of Utrova has faced challenges within Utrova leaving him to leave Malograd to run autonomously. Although under Royal Rule from Utrova, the nation has now failed to meet its second debt after failing to pay 5 billion in outstanding gas bills. With 58% of the population being expat workers from Poalndria in Malograd, Chancellor Sztol remarked it as a " great grievance to know our citizens can not get the gas they deserve". Chancellor Sztol will be meeting with the Nephew of the Polandrian Royal family, Grande Duke of Malograd Michiael Gorbovalski, about a 27 billion dollar bail out for the small nation. So far both nations have pledged to come together and solve the problem facing the two nations. Utrova has been a great friend to Poalndria and with the sudden departure of the government Malograd faces a vacuum of power.

Both Chancellor Sztol and Michiael have told reporters befored their closed door meetings that Polandria would be willing to help out the small nation as long as very specific criteria was met. Many have brought up how Malograd would be able to pay back the larger bailout amount when it can not pay the smaller amount of its bills owing. The nation was subsidized by the Tsar.

Yes you are right,

June 10th,

So will that be fine?

The Imperial Federal Kingdom would like to point out that - due to the pipeline not passing through Forgia and Zebtesia - a cancellation of the Polandrian segment would cut the pipeline system in two, seperating East Althenan nations (such as Okaiken, Nilia & Albian, and the Greater Morsco) from West Althenan nations (such as Insulo, Grand & Belluterra, and Matinenda). Thus, our previous statement on the matter remains valid.

Polandrian Imperium Ministry fo the Exterior Taps

On the other hand, we are interested in seeing where this proposed deal with Utrovan Malograd goes, as Utrova and its territories is considered a Brother-Country of the Imperial Federal Kingdom, and Malograd is going to be the main point where oil from the Imperial Federal Kingdom's Viceroyalty of Malo - one of the Union's largest oil exporters - would enter the Trans-Althenan Pipeline.

The Polandrian Imperium official lawyer will make note of these quick statements.

1. The Polandrian Imperium does not condone a pipeline going through its territory nor do the Takesians, Rallistanians and other DEFENTAS members, as we have our own lines per our DEFENTAS agreement.

2. The Imperial Federal Kingdom was the one that got the Forgian Proposal vetoed.

3. Polandria has every right not to allow the gas line and so does Takesian and any other DEFENTAS member.

Therefore your nations decision to veto Proposal 2 is the reason gas prices will shoot up when Polandria vetoes a the proposal by your nation to place a pipeline on our nation without consent.

As we stated before, please take account of your nations role in the vetoing of proposal 2 and the fact that you can not legally place a pipeline in our lands without our consent.

We have read through the proposals and saw your vote to cancel proposal 2, after deciding without us, that their would be a pipeline through Polandria.

Therefore, as stated before, our nation would not in any way raise gas prices, as it is your nation that originally vetoed proposal 2 without first taking into account Polandria's stance.

We would appreciate, again, your nation taking the time to look at the facts and laws governing this original statement before making such accusations against Polandria and apologize for the allegation made.

Yes that would be fine.

About the Pipeline, there are a lot of ways where this can be worked out, example: by crossing Hedjaz to Allaja

The Misnistry would like to point out where the DEFENTAS pipelines are for mapping considerations.

We have understood that this is your position on the matter since you announced the possible cancellation of the pipeline several days ago.

2. The Imperial Federal Kingdom was the one that got the Forgian Proposal vetoed.
We wish to clarify that did not veto it ourselves, but rather requested a vote to see whether cancellation of the Forgian Proposal was approved by the majority of the Union. With the exception of those who abstained, wishing to stay out of the political and physical conflict between Forgia and Malo, 75% of the union voted in favor of the Pipeline going through Polandria instead of through Malo's enemies.

3. Polandria has every right not to allow the gas line and so does Takesian and any other DEFENTAS member.
We have never disputed this right, merely expressed our disappointment for your engaging in this cancellation.

Therefore your nation's decision to veto Proposal 2 is the reason gas prices will shoot up when Polandria vetoes the proposal by your nation to place a pipeline on our nation without consent.
As we mentioned before, the decision was made by majority vote in the Union. All we did was ask for a run-off vote between the two proposals. We would also point out that had Proposal 2 been accepted, the Imperial Federal Kingdom would have cancelled its share of funding for the Pipeline (which makes up a considerable percentage), and Malo would have raised its prices in protest; we may have also intensified our ongoing war against Forgia and Zebtesia to ensure that they could not follow through with constructing their segment of pipeline. Therefore, at the time of voting, voting
for Proposal 2 would have raised the cost of oil and gas worldwide - not the other way around.

As we stated before, please take account of your nation's role in the vetoing of Proposal 2 and the fact that you can not legally place a pipeline in our lands without our consent.
Although we would prefer it if the pipeline would pass through your nation, we understand if you wish to cancel its construction; in your place, we might do the same thing. However, as mentioned before, we were not the only nation to vote on a cancellation of the Forgian connections.

We have read through the proposals and saw your vote to cancel Proposal 2, after deciding without us that there would be a pipeline through Polandria.
We never disputed the fact that we voted against having it pass through Forgia and Zebtesia; however, our Viceroyalty has been at war with them since 1947 - during the Great Adonian War - and thus it would be impudent for us to vote in favor of Proposal 2. Furthermore, we would like to point out that at the time the Union made the descision, Polandria did not seem to object to the pipeline passing through its territory. If you had objected back then, the current situation could have been solved with a lot less trouble.

Therefore, as stated before, our nation would not in any way raise gas prices, as it is your nation that originally vetoed Proposal 2 without first taking into account Polandria's stance.
As mentioned before, it was not solely us who voted against Proposal 2. Excluding abstentions, 75% of the Union made the same decision as we did.

That is all we have to say for now. Hoping for a reply soon,

- The Imperial Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Then as we stated before your nation and the union nations who voted without our agreement then are the sole reason gas prices will go up. We just want to make it clear it is not our fault. You can not push something onto a nation and then set blame on them when they do not agree to it.

Thank you.

(BTW Daniel thanks for the great debate here, really enjoyed it and really happy it did not get immature or personal like so many other as people jump in and stuff, I appreciate a good game of our nation your nation and this was superb!)

Chancellor Sztol today has arrived back In Polandria with Grande Duke of Malograd Michiael Gorbovalski after signing an agreement to join Malograd into Polandria as a Viceroyalty with Michiael Grobovalski as Viceroy. The option seemed perfect given he was related to both royal lines of the Tsar's as well as the Polandrian Royal family. This will now help cement the more then 20 billion in bailout money for the tiny land. As a governed land by Polandria this will also allow the nation to take advantage of financial security in the future. The agreement held clauses that if the Kingdom of Utrova ever is able to come back into a proper situation to once again help rule Malograd then there will be a referendum vote to leave Polandria. The other sticking point was the pipeline deal with Grand, which Chancellor Sztol commented on saying "all agreements on the pipeline and ship terminal installed by Grand's oil company will be honoured and will continue to carry on business without a problem".

With the new news the Roi Grande Allucian bridge was put into over drive to finish its connection between the two lands. The bridge will be the longest in Althena.
