The Loftindorian Government states that heavy winds have destroyed it's broadcasting network. Loftindor seeks no aid, and that the snow should melt by tomorrow, PM David Flafurger is to deliver a speech tomorrow


Loftindorian Weather Services say it was somehow "just right" for the condition, even stranger taking place in the summer, Loftindor's climate in the south is Tropical.
It has been confirmed that most of the snow has melted on contact to the ground and that snowing has stopped. Reports say that Southern Loftindor is now experiencing a light rain drizzle. The Loftindorian Government will continue communication tomorrow.

Malakkanian Naval Soldiers Fire Blanks as a Way to Intimidate the Loftindorian Navy.

The Bevijik, a few miles off the Bayasan coast.

After Loftindor officially announced negotiations closed with Malakkan, the Malakkanians have put more ships for "defense." One of the ships, the Bevijik, sailed about 2 miles away from Bayasa city. Gunfire was heard on this ship, putting 3 near-by Loftindorian ships on alert. 5 shots were heard and the ship was told to turn around by Loftindorian officials. The Malakkanians complied and turned the Bevijik for home. Later, the Malakkanese claimed that 3 drunk soldiers fired the shots, and told Loftindorian officials they'd be punished. The Defense Ministry claims that the Malakkanians did it as a way of intimidating Loftindorian soldiers. The Defense Ministry also has noticed that the Malakkanian navy has been nearing the coast recently, which to the Defense Ministry is seen as an act of Hostility. More on the story Later.

So they allow their sailors to be drunk on duty. Their story is so full of holes I'm surprised their fleet is still afloat.

The Destroyer FNS Cheltali is still on station at New Loftindor Island, awaiting on call for assistance.

The island of New Loftindor and Bayasa are under a state of emergency after the Malakkan's ally, Momnoko, docked ships in the port of Al Hassan, near New Loftindor and Bayasa. The Ministry of Defense has temporarily banned any cargo or commercial ships to enter the gulf. The Malakkanian have not yet commented on the "docking," but Momnoko has confirmed that the ships are their and are there for military practices because of the defensive pact signed by the two countries. Because of how close the bay is to the two dependencies, we are initiating a state of emergency within Both of them (mainly Bayasa City). We have deployed ground troops just to be safe.
