Short History (Most important facts):

A catholic populations lands in a desert group of islands the 19th March of 100a.c. These Islands will be called "San José".
In 160 a.c.a new Kingdom of San José is estabilished. The king is Martìn Alvarez Montego.
In 1590,San José is occupied by the Genoan republic.
1649:A bloody civil war starts against the Genoan republic.
In 1650 San José become a free state,Genoa will be a province of San José.
1651:San José becomes a principate,Gaztrota family rules very well the nation.
In 1943 the socialist Miguel Celvarrozo does a golpe against the last Gaztrota commander: Pablo Moreno de Santa Marìa Gaztrota IV.
Now San José is a socialist republic.
1950's-1970's: Lots of people is deported to the Gulags of San José,in the desert of Guizcogna.
1989:With the fall of communism the Socialist Republic of San José falls also.
In 1992 San José becomes a federal democratic republic.

I think you have a great start and I would certainly support this as an ambassadorial membership. There are a few problems I have though before I can put this to vote.

First off is the flag. Frankly, the only time you ever see text in a NATIONAL flag that works is in a Coat of Arms (example: Nicaragua), and even that is extremely rare. So I would just replace that with the white color that's already there, then it would work fine.

The only other thing really is the farms. I know this is tough, but those stupid, oversized retaining walls Maxis likes putting on their farms are killer. I suggest you demolish the farms until you get one that works. At this point in time, unlike the flag, I wouldn't stop this from voting because of something that would take a while to change.

Also, what do you use to edit your pictures?

Long story short: If you change the flag, you're probably going to get in

Looks great Sincaro but I second about text on the flag. Otherwise I'd love to see another small country here ^_^ (god knows mine will be of a small-ish size) Look forward to seeing this country progress.
