I can't count them like that... so we'll have to stick with full blown posts.

Depends on what you mean by spam, plus I like to think everyone in our union cares about the success of it.

I think this an excellent idea, and I think we should consider other awards as well.

Sorry, but I don't like this idea much at the moment. The recognition of the top poster is a good idea, but we don't have rules about what meets the spam category set in stone; the ideas of what classifies as spam change per member. For me, posting in the forum games is, frankly, spamming, since it doesn't regard USNW in any way shape or form, while for others that definitely doesn't.

One thing's for sure: this is spam. So maybe this event will promote spam more. Not saying it will, but it could.

Also I think CJ updates should count for something (it is Trixie month, you know). But thats just me.

I'll deduct the posts from the forum games and figure out a way to allocate points for updating city journals.

Forth, yeah something along those lines, reset the formula for it so that, lets say:

1 post=1 point
1 CJ Update=5 points
1 forum games post=0 points
Spam=personal reset (that one I think might not be able to be done but it's worth a try )

And it automatically resets the first of the month, and someone keeps track of it and on the last day of the month or so we decide the winner. Could also do a human reset so that if someone jumps ahead at the last minute, it's not for naught. Human reset would probably be better.

I wonder if there would be a way to do this and preserve the current Activity Index as well, as I like the new idea a lot, but I don't want to lose the current Activity Index system
