As proposed in ... This Thread ...

Please discuss the languages that your Nation uses and what you think the Continent as whole should use.

If your Nation is not on these Continents and you wish to add your opinion or ideas, please use the green colour so we can differentiate between the two.

I think Insulonian should be commonly spoken around Itzamna, but at least in the countries that border Ruteria.

The country north of Ruteria, Samasil speaks Puertian not Insulonian, and Vanadla the big Island below Ruteria speaks Insulonian too.

Since Follmera is a former Scandinavian colony, it would be fitting the national language be Linergiän, since the list translates it as Swedish, that being the only Nordic language besides Icelandic used on Adonia.

As for a second non-official language, i'd like it to be Trentannian. Since it's translation is English, then I assume Adonia is the same way in the fact that Trentannian is a major global language?

Trentannian is indeed the English of Adonia, so having it as a second language is fine.

I have no problem with you using Linergiän, I think of it like how Portuguese is the official language of Brazil, an former Portuguese colony.

Well then that settles it for my country at least.

Not sure about the continent as a whole.

The majority of the continent area-wise speaks different dialects of Insulonian (Spanish), due to historical large-scale colonization by the former Kingdom of Insulo. Wink
