Good work on the maps, Chip. An example for the rest of us.

What's the significance of the commonwealth, by the way? And what is the meaning of the two different colors in the first map?

The maps look great. I didn't realise your Commonwealth was so extensive.

I look forward to seeing more maps from you.

@Stan: Thanks

@K50: Thanks, took a good little bit of work on those. Razz

@Qorten: Commonwealths are like Australia and Canada are to the U.K. They still recognize my Queen (or Vasílissa) as their Head of State but we have no real say in their politics. The commonwealth Realm also serves as an alliance, so if any member is attacked the others will help them. The two colors represent the standing in our politics, Orange represents members of the Imperial Kingdom of Posillipo, such as the mainland counties and the overseas principalities which pretty much run their own affairs except the Queen can intervene if she disagrees with something. The red represents commmonwealths which I showed earlier. Thanks for the compliment.

@Fox: Thanks, it is quite large because we allowed our former empire to choose whether or not it chose to stay in the kingdom or became commonwealths with the Commonwealth Act of 1950, which allowed almost complete independence.

@Patat: Thanks Smile

Amazing maps! Very Happy I wonder how large the Posilliponian Empire was pre-1950... in what year was the Posilliponian Empire at its height, size-wise?

Size-wise, was from about 1800-1950.
