During the Adonian World War, the Imperial Kingdom of Escambia remained neutral throughout the war. Despite the war only being a few hundred miles away and bordering Trentannia the Kingdom remained neutral. However along the border with Escambia and Lisieux the Escambian Commonwealth Army protected its borders with checkpoints throughout the border. No point during the war did Escambia ever get invaded by Trentannia.

Hope thats okay

Well, actually the area Escambia now holds was invaded, as was Lisieux and Puget... maybe we can change that though.

Well we were unattacked, However Trentannia Army did travel through Escambia. Since techincally we sided with no one. As long as we didnt get attacked we remained neutral at all costs. Last thing we needed at the time was a war with a neighboring country

Near the end of the Great Adonian War, Malo was invaded in a last-ditch invasion by Forgia and Zebtesia, who had sided with the Trentannians. Because of a lack of Trentannian-supplied resources, they were unable to complete their invasion, and stopped at the present-day Malonese borders. The territory taken consisted of about 65% of the Zebtase Delta in northern Malo, taken by Zebtesia, as well as a large chunk of the Forgian Desert in western Malo, taken by Forgia. The captured territory remains a point of contention to this day.

Timeline of Puget in GAW
1942: Trentannian Empire invades North Puget

Utrova was involved in the GAW in 1945, and attacked the Trentannian capital, but small cities in South Utrova were bombed afterwards by Trentannia. The government was never escorted but simply acted as if nothing was happening. That was the only attack in Utrova during the GAW.

The Neutrality of Calma Domhain during the Great Adonian War set the nation up for it's current culture and isolationism.

The state of Gamat during the Great Adonian War was that of a sovereign kingdom in personal union with "Utrova", with King ____ as head of state.
Serindriean, Trentannian and Mellechian interest in Gamat in the 1940s grew from nothing at all to proportions found by the Posilliponian government to be alarming. The Trentannian's favours began with friendly competition between Trentannian and Gamatic soccer teams. When war began, Utrova, Mervey and Gamat declared neutrality and limited visits to the island by military vessels and aircraft of the belligerents.
During the Trentannian occupation of Mervey, contact between the countries was disrupted. Initially, Gamat declared itself to be neutral, and limited visits of belligerent warships and imposed a ban on belligerent aircraft within Gamatic territory.
Following the invasion of Mervey in 9 April 1946 Gamat opened a legation in Smith City. Gamat, however unlike Deden & Shiland and Mervey, did not closely enforce these limitations within the territorial waters and even slashed funding for the Gamatic Coast Guard. Many Trentannian merchant vessels seeking shelter within the neutral waters around Gamat were sunk by Allied warships. However, the Chief of the Capital Police Forces, Ragnar "Kufoer" Jonsson, started to train National Defence forces in early 1946.
Posillipo imposed strict export controls on Gamatic goods, preventing profitable shipments to Trentannia, as part of its naval blockade. Posillipo offered assistance to Gamat, seeking cooperation "as a belligerent and an ally", but Kjiadvick declined and reaffirmed its neutrality. Serindriean, Mellechian and Trentannian presence in Gamat, along with the island's strategic importance, alarmed the Posilliponan. After a few failed attempts of persuading the Gamatic government by diplomatic means to join the Allies and becoming a co-belligerent in the War against the Trentannian-forces, the Posilliponian invaded Gamat on 10 May 1947. The initial force of 746 Posilliponian Royal Marines commanded by Colonel Robert Sturges was replaced on 17 May by a larger Army force, and eventually 25,000 Posilliponian troops were stationed in Gamat.
On 7 July 1948, the defence of Gamat was transferred from Posillipo to (still officially neutral) Shayden, by agreement with Gamat, and Shaydenian troops replaced the Posilliponian. Gamat's strategic position along the South Fovazh sea-lanes, perfect for air and naval bases, could bring new importance to the island. The 40,000 Shaydenian soldiers stationed in Gamat outnumbered all adult men in Gamat at the time. (At the time, Gamat had a population of around 120,000).
During the war, drifting mines became a serious problem for Gamaters as well as the Allied forces. The first Gamatic Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) personnel were trained in 1942 by the Posilliponian Royal Navy to help deal with the problem. The Posilliponian forces also supplied the Gamatic Coast Guard with weapons and ammunition, such as depth-charges against Axis U-boats. During the war, Mellechian U-boats damaged and sank a number of Gamatic vessels. Gamat's reliance on the sea, to provide nourishment and for trade resulted in significant loss of life. In 1944 Posilliponian Naval Intelligence built a group of five Marconi wireless direction finding stations on the coast west of Kjiadvick. The stations were part of a ring of similar groups located around the South-Fovazh to locate wireless transmissions from U-boats.
On 10 February 1951, Trentannian Fullen-Wulf Fw 200 Condor from the I./KG 40, stationed in Mervey, sunk the Posilliponian tanker HMS Le Grille at Mærsðurlóðir.
On 17 June 1951, Gamat dissolved its "union" with Utrova and the Utrovan monarchy and declared itself a republic.
Gamat cooperated with the Posilliponian and then the Shaydenians, but officially remained neutral throughout the Great Adonian War.

Near the war's end, as the Kingdom of Malo was on the verge of collapse, Trentannia's allies, Zebtesia and Forgia, invaded Malo and brought it to its knees, capturing over 80% of its pre-war territory, including most of the extremely fertile Zebtase Delta, and were on the verge of overrunning all of Malo when the news came that the war had ended. The Malonese borders that were forced upon it when the war ended remain as its borders to this day.
