Election | Cartographic Committee

It's been delayed for far too long due to administrative inactivity, so let's bring up some member initiative shall we? I most likely don't have the authority to do this, so let's call it a "legitimate civilian government initiative".

Let's do this this way: Nominate no more than 4 (as Jack is the perm. chairman of that committee apparently) nominees to be part of the Cartographic Committee.

I nominate Willem, Carl, Kurt and Jon.

You have two days to nominate people. After that, polls open and we vote, and this is finally voted for and done and over and we can move on.

We've already voted on this though.

We haven't after the new constitution and by-laws have passed.

I think we can probably decide when an election is unnecessary.

We've figured out who in the forum is best at maps, and the rest of us aren't getting any closer to reaching their level so they're basically permanent members.

Mike basically summed this all up. If we do vote, it's all formalities, really.

I would still easily suggest new elections since two of the members on that first vote aren't active. Though I'm not sure what to do at this point. Dx

I would suggest voting for a whole new committee, including Jack. At the moment he's just taking up a place.

I could volunteer for the fifth position if needed, but having just an iPad atm makes things a bit hard.

The fifth person needs to be someone experienced. I would suggest Jack since he should hopefully be coming back sometime soon. Or I would definitely consider nominating Mike if Jack can't do it.
